You are talking about cow elk? In the past I used the heavy shoe stings that came with the cameras. The cow elk loved them, they were always eating them and knocking the cameras off the tree.

I've had very good luck with just a regular old salt block. Go to feed store 1 pound or 20 pound blocks, the 20 pound block take a hammer to and make what ever size you want. There also cheeper than bying somthing made for deer. -

The bull is in 23s. The drought probably had some effect on this this bull, the area he is in never greened up until three or four weeks ago. I wish there was a better picture of himlooking at the camera, it may make him look more impressive. -
What are you scouting for in 22n.

Older muzzleloader
have2bhuntn replied to have2bhuntn's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
Thank for the address and phone number mzlloader. I also bought a winchester apex two weeks ago so it not that big of deal, the knight was going to be a spare. The apex shoot graet, it was holding a two patern at a hundred yards. -
I have recently aquired an older Knight muzzleloader that uses NO.11 primers. I have purchased 209 primer kit for it. There was not much inthe way of instuctions but I installed it just like the old one. When I tried to shoot it yesterday the firing pin would not hit the primer. I was wondering if any one could tell what I did wrong. THe kit was supose to fit the modleof gun I have.

I check my weekly but like BASS I have always had 35mm cameras. I also use mine in very popular areas. Usually they are taken down friday afternoon and put back sunday afernoon.
