hard to beat a good solid built 270win for that type of situation. I am a rifle builder and I would recommend to you 270, 280AI, or 25-06. The 25-06 might be a good fit for you. I actually just rebarreled a 30-06 to my wildcat 6.5-270AI for a customer.

I'm selling my varmint rig. It's a stag arms 24inch bull barrel upper with free floating forearm. paired with a dpms lower with Blackhawk grip. Less then 50 shots through it, groups good. We have a beagle/walker (I think) mix for sale. A male. Only selling because we were told he was a purebred beagle and he isn't. Doesn't get along with the smaller dogs. He's had his first two shots. He'll come with all his stuff. Bed, kennel, 30lbs of food and container, toys, leash and harness, food dishes ect.... $200. Just to cover the cost of his stuff.

We'll give him away now. And his stuff.
