I don't use them on a tripod, so I am not sure. They are a little heavier than some others, but I think that speaks to their quality. I have a Zeiss Conquest 10x42 and to my eyes the Kowa has a sharper image.
If anyone is considering these, check out reviews online. They are very highly thought of. At $750 it is a great buy.

Kowa Genesis Prominar 8.5x44 binoculars. These are nearly new and in great shape. The glass is perfect and very clear. $700. If you want other pictures let me know.

I have a Mcmillan Edge and a Grayboe Outlander. Both are for Remington 700 long action BDL. The McMillan is black with grey speckles and the Grayboe is desent camo. Let me know if you are interested and I can send you pictures.
