I live in Texas but will be at the property for my Coues hunt this November. I anticipate being there Wednesday evening Nov. 27th with my hunt starts Friday the 29th, the day after Thanksgiving. I would be happy to show you around, I can also arrange for you to get into the property most any other time if you'd like to see it. You can call me at 830-890-5014, or email at lamcennis@gmail.com
As a side note; I'm letting a local rancher (and friend) run a few head of cows on the place and he was drawn for Desert Sheep last year and took a 186" er, the largest taken last year, and as luck would have it - he got drawn for Rocky Mtn Sheep this year! Really?

There are two ways to get there; depending of where you live, Phx or Tucson. From Phx you'd take the 70 and get off at mile marker 313.5 on the Klondyke/Bonita road, from Tuc you'd go to Willcox and then north up to Bonita, then west to Klondyke.
The property is at the west end of the Aravaipa Canyon, it starts about 10 downstream from my place.

There seems to be a problem with AZGFD from some of the people in Klondyke, and I have been asked by several not to sell to the G&F for various reasons.
And while I'm at it; several years ago I thought I was being stopped out in the field by the Sheriff's Office but it turned out to be G&F. A black truck, with a gold star on the door, and a storm trooper looking guy dressed all in black. Is this what our G&F department is becoming?

QuoteThanks everyone, it is a great piece of property. The Klondyke area holds all sorts of game, I've gotten pic's of bear and lion on my trail cam, tho only once. The property is at 3500', so it's at the top end of mesquite and just starting into PJ's on the upper end. Contact me and I can arrange to let you come and wander around on the place. Larry.

I'll have to say that I've been lucky on my draws too. I got my Desert Sheep tag on the fifth try (1993) and my Bull Buffalo tag on my first try (1989 I think). I now have 27 points towards my Rocky Mtn. Sheep tag and I'm hoping to get drawn for that in the next couple of years.
