Awesome buck! Great splits and huge G4! I bet you can't get your hands off that rack! Put him on the wall! WOW! I love the live photos, gets me all stoked just looking at those. Great Job! Now i want to go out bad!

Been trying to post this for a while but my computer wouldn't let me but now i got it fixed. We scouted hard again this year and everyone that bagged one last year, bagged one this year! My brother shot his opening morning again! his is the second photo. Opening morning i messed up on a real nice buck that was probably 100 inches or more but i tried to get closer for a shot and there ended up being more deer than i thought there was and they took off on me. I passed up on a few small two points the next morning waiting to see if i could spot the big one again. Around noon time me and a friend went to go sit in some shade and glass and as soon as i got there i spotted a nice 3 pointer about 800 yards away and watched him bed. Decided i would go after him and closed the distance to 240 yards and the rest is history. He is the top photo. Then on Monday afternoon me and a buddy went to go try a different area which held water that we didn't know about and there was a forky and a 2 point down by the water and my buddy took the 2 pointer, was his second buck. I don't have that great of a picture of that buck but his is the bottom photo, its off my camera phone One of our buddies had the November hunt and on his second day out he found a group of bucks early in the morning and took a nice 3 pointer as well but after he shot that one he noticed there was a bigger buck in the group. His is the third photo and is also off of my camera phone. Was another great year for us and cant wait till next year! I have yet to see a cat either... spent a lot of time out in the wild and have yet to see one! I've seen their tracks though so i'm sure they have seen me.

Thanks Matt! I really appreciate you taking the time and writing that up. Thanks for the info! We are probably going to do trips through out the year and drop off gear at the camp site.

That is crazy! I couldn't imagine a 3 year old shooting a deer.

We were thinking about doing a pack in hunt this year in our unit too. We were going to go do a scouting trip back in there to see what we see. We know there are big bucks around, our area does carry a lot of bears too. My brother just bought a pistol to feel more safe. We are starting to get our stuff ready for the ruff trip. I was going to ask how many people actually pack in some where and camp, and what kind of advice they might have.

Didn't mean the comment like that. Bagging anything with a bow is an accomplishment, i just don't care to hunt them. I only use it as an excuse to get out in the woods. Went hunting for pig about 5 years ago and shot one with my bow and havn't put in for it since. I don't like the meat either. Congrats on the hunt! probably see you around at sportsmans, love that place!

What unit was that in? probably had more tags back then too.

I don't care to much for pig hunting, seems to easy with their poor eye sight. Just got to know where they hang out but god job on your hunt! I heard Cody shot a nice bull, lets see the picture if you have it.
