Hello wondering if bedding a cheap stock will help accuracy? I have a savage 12 fv that shot really well before I took it all the way apart to clean and can’t get it to shoot as tight of groups after putting it back together, wondering if bedding it will help?

I have floated the tang I’ve shot it about 30 times and it’s shooting better but it was shooting really well before I took it apart I started at 15 inch pounds and went up in 5 pound increments shooting 3 shot groups and 30 is what it shoots the best at but it’s still not shooting like before
