I purchased a weatherby vanguard chambered in 30-06 I then got a 22-250ai barrel with a savage style barrel nut. Installed it and from all the forums I read I did not think running a SA cartridge in a LA would be a problem. However when I try to rack a round the cartridge nose dives. Any fixes or tricks or ways around this. Originally gun had a blind magazine I then bought weatherby brand detachable mag and bottom metal same issue.
