If he can hang tough he will wear BJ down as BJ never seems to have enough stamina after he trys a few Submissins. The only problem i see him facing is the fact that he is going against one of the UFCs top take down defenders. You can twist Penn into a pretzel and have him standing on his one big toe and still he will not go down. His stand up game is way better than stevensons. Ask GSP about that. Joe stevenson is a Tuff son of a gun in no doubt. I would love to see him win I do not like spoiled BJ Pen at all. He was born with a silver spoon in the mouth. Most of the other fighters fight to make a life for their families.

Huges and GSP are fighting a title fight. I am not sure what they are calling it but it is a 5 round fight for a title. I am not sure if it is the real title. Matt told Dana that it is not fair for a champ to hold the title behind an injury, When it may be a full year before that champ can defend that so said title. I just ordered the ne book Matt and some one else just wrote it is hi biography. I look up to Matt for the drive and the family background more than the fact that he is the most dominate champion. I have sent him an invite to come for a full guided hunt here in AZ if he ever draws a tag. Even on his blog i posted an invite for him to come hunt Coues deer. So yes Coues is now on his blog. BJ Penn will be the next champ in that weight class. I do not think stevenson is even close to the same caliber that penn is. Jackson and Griffen are the coaches for the next season of the TUF show and they will contend for the title at the end of that show. That will be one heck of a fight. Jackson can put out the punishment ,but Griffen can take it and outlast most fighters in a 5 round fight.

I will be at the game and fish monday to purchase one of the new Over the counter Elk tags. It looks like they will be having three hunts this coming year that the over the counter tags are good for. Looks like you will be able to use a bow or rifle. It sounds like they are created for hunting the areas they do not want elk to be encroaching on. The tags are available now for the 2008 season. They are unlimited and you can still put in for and draw a tag from the draw. You will still only be alowd to kill one elk per year, But hand down to a youth hunter your left over tag after you fill your tag.

Even if something does hapen I do not think you will have a hard time getting back. Heck just find a hole in the fence and cross. It does not seem to be hard crossing when you are doing it in a south to north direction. As soon as you come across a border patrol or a minute men set up then plead your case.

I wish they would have brought back pulvers weight class alot sooner so he could have fought some more fights in the UFC. BJ and Joe stevenson are fighting for the title now because the muscle shark tested pos for something. I have a trifold set that is home made out of angle iron and rebar. No body is going to still that beast. I lock it up with a cable lock anyways. I lock evrything up now days. I have short cable s and long cables with about 6 locks that all take the same key. They are in my truck tool box. I am going to buy the 145.00 set from sportsmans as soon as i save some extra change. They are alot lighter.

It was decided at the mtg in flag this week. The tags are available at all game and fish offices. I believe they say you can buy them now for the 2008 season. You will need a new 2008 lic i am sure.If TLH gets on here he can post an email sent to him by some one at the G&F i think. You can see it in the minutes of the mtg as well, but it does not sttae the outcome in those minutes just that they would be talking about it at the MTG. It will most likley be in the units that are limited ops. So far the only link i know of is the email sent to Terry. It can be seen over at the www.azsj.org site. Others have confirmed it on that site as well.

Casey I am shocked no body has told you this yet. I will because i know you have a Dec Coues tag. but in december coues deer turn black, So when you go out you should be looking for Black deer not the color you are used to. Man i hope i did not tick anyone off by sharing this info with you.
