There is a list on the game and fish website of guys that can do it for you as a nuisance trapper. I know you can google wildlife control in the Tucson area and there is a company that will come out and trap them for you. Can't wait to be on that list.

He was probably checking you out to see if you were prospecting or if he could see if you had gear in your jeep to know if you were prospecting. In today's gold market they have problems with claim jumping again.it has gotten ruff in a few cases lately. I was not there to see how the conversation went down. So I can not judge either way. He can not keep you off his claim if you are actively hunting. Your hunting license gives you the same right to use the land. I have been asked to move by people a few times. I have no problem moving. They have had problems with theft and things damaged in there mining camps in the past by people out hunting. Not all hunters are true outdoorsmen or sportsmen. Probably could have been delt with a little better on both sides.

Any Marlin bolt action will work for a lifetime of kids. They make one of the best youth rifles you can get your hands on.

Today was the first time I saw it on the news. I don't know all the meat of it but it said on the news it is a mandatory back ground check for any gun sold on city owned or city maintained property. Still lots of private property around to buy and sell guns on in my mind. No matter what it's just more preasure under the thumb of stupid politicians. And nudging in the shoulder of infringement on our God given rights.

I'm not sure that it is leagle to trap a lion in a cage trap.

In most cases you want your Lion dogs to know when they are out of the kennel they are going to hunt. It helps in their excitement of chasing a cat. But if its a family pet you can still teach it to run game. Because they come by it natural. It's also o e of the main reasons the run off and get lost as pets. Maybe your friend will let you run yours with his a few times. If you are going to use it to hunt cats you should consider at least one more hound. If you are wanting to run bear you shoul consider more then just two hounds.

There is a person on a Facebook page here in Thatcher that is offering info on a trail camera that was stolen near a big above ground water tank out around Klondike Arizona area. By the looks of the Photo it is the big white tank on Tripp canyon road just before you start up the hill towards the forest land. If yours was stolen I can pass your info along to the person with info as to what happend to it. I don't know anything about it other then I was asked to post this up to see if if helps anyone.

I've replaced the belt on my 07 once. Casey it's easy. Pull the storage box off open the belt cover the broken one falls off. You have to make sure you clean all the old threads off from the other belt. It will wrap around the clutch. Once you get all that out its like putting a bike chain back on a bike. And be sure you put it on facing the way you can read what's on the belt or your power will suffer. If belt breakage is an issue with any polaris ranger you need to replace the engine mount rubber doughnut thing. That will stop the breaking over and over. My problem with my 07 is all in the front end. Messed up wheel bearings a bent A arm and a bent front strut. Oh wait that may be from it coming off my trailer while going down the road. And also if you get new rims for any ranger make sure they sell you rims with the corect off set for your machine. I got some from the dealer here in Safford and paid a big amount on tires and rims and they sold me rims for a newer machine and my brand new front tires are ruined from rubbing the steering knuckle. They think I should have known the rims would not work. Oh wait you guys are the polaris dealers in town. So after I change my tires over to my old rims I will have a set of crohm and black polaris rims for sale. Go with the ranger. For hunting and family trail riding they can't be beat. For dunes and speed there is better out there then the plain old work horse ranger.

I pushed post before I was done. My father in law has the rhino. It rides rougher and is louder. My neighbor has the arctic cat and I feel like I'm on a remote control toy. If you want to go Fast Fast then the can am is the one. I do not know anyone with the the Honda big red or the newer John deers.

First you have to decide what you want out of your sude by side. i went with the ranger be ause i wanted something my whole family could go out in. With the rear seat in the bed all six of us can go out. when its just my boys and I hunting the rear seat comes out and we have full use of the bed. Casey if you have the half windshield try raising it a couple inches so there is a gap. It helps a little bit. I take mine off during the warm seasons and put it back on when its cold out. The bad thing right now is its both cool and warm.

Lion hunter I am glad you posted this info. I picked up a set of take offs at the polaris shop in safford. I noticed the same thing goi g on with the rubbing. I went back down a little pissed off and the guy told me it is because my wheel bearings are going out and causing them to rub. He said it happens all the time. I just put my bald 8 inch wheels back on my ranger and I have huge clearance. I even asked him if the rim offset was the issue. Nope has to be the bearings. I was telling him I was pissed because I spent 600 for the take offs and now they are near ruined. Do you know if I can put the 9 inch tires on the 8 inch rims. Or will that not work.
