Another thing I heard on talk radio today stands very true. In the primary elections the republicans kill each other and drag up things about each other that are for ever damaging. The dens don't get as cut throat with each other. Those things stick with people forever.

I don't shoot big Bucks because all of the mistakes Casey has had are always in the back of my mind. J.K. I shoot the buck that gives me the shot in most cases. I can't help that they are always big bucks.

Scott Adams uses Goats. Try and get ahold of him. If your just looking for help to pack gear I would say they are your best bet. My uncle uses them to pack his camp deep into the uenta mountains in Utah. He has a couple that can pack more gear then me. If your looking to pack meat a mule or horse is the way to go. Be very careful buying Mules. A good one is good but a bad one is very bad. And you can not change many mules with the attitude adjustment like you can a horse. But if you can find a good mule it will take you anyplace you point it.

Well out of a couple handfuls of bear I finaly had one give me the perfect chance. I missed him Three times. Then two days later I called the bear hotline early Wednsday morning and found my unit was still open. So I head out and glass a few up. Then After my son got home from school we headed out to the spot I had glassed. Sure enough just as I planed the big 400 pound bear stood up and came around the boulder he was bedded under. Boom I let it fly the bear jumped and headed off across the side of the hill. Boom I let another one fly. Dust right over his back. Boom I let another fly dust right over his back. Down over the ridge line and we never saw him again. So about 30 minutes goes by of glassing waiting for that bear to show its self again we decide to move to another vantage point to see if we can see him. The sun is thinking about going down for the night and I look about 100 yards away is a huge brown colored black bear. Standing in a wide open hill side. My son said dad are you going to shoot him. I told him we would let him walk do to the fact that it was getting very close to legal shooting light was borderline and I had to be at work early in the morning. So I did not have time to shoot and get this bear out in time. I ran into another guy that told me that the hunt closed at sundown. I got on the hotline again to find out that I let one of the biggest bear I've seen walk free until next season. It was fun and I better take my old faithful rifle out and shoot it before my Dec Coues hunt. It has not been off in years and this year I missed two big old bear with it.

Well said Mike. Nice Video you posted up today of the guy hunting with a handgun and looked like maybe his son had a Rifle to fill his Tag. Nice Bear for sure. Love the part that you got of you guys helping your dogs keep the bear up the tree. Atleast when he bailed he treed right up again.

You can always ask the two guys that went missing last year during the bear hunt. they ended up finding them with the crap kicked out of them and they were both locked in their own dog box on the back of his truck. There was an argument at a bear tree about whos dogs started the race first. The game wardens came into our bear camp to see if we had seen the guiys when tghey were missing. then stoped back by to tell us they found them all ther guys dogs were gone also. i dont know how it ended but this shouild go to show you they are serious about running bear up on the mountain.

Haha yea we have hunting down. We passed on a few nice Bear. It was fun doing this with my sons this year. To bad they saw their dad miss some easy shots. Atleast they have seen me sneak some good ones on some Coues Bucks. I even missed a big bobcat a week ago. I was by myself and got a good laugh at myself for getting all worked up over that cat and missing him. After hunting for over 30 years you would think the shakes would go away but they still pop up when you don't want them to. Hope my Brother and There bear camp do good up north. Some good hunters and hounds up there.

Well that area is not far from the last few Griz in Arizona. I saw one last year that I sure wondered about. It had a neck hump and Griz looking hair. And the claws were long and curved like it to. It was taken not far below Alpine. It's a beauty of a bear for sure.

Do what you want but if you shoot it out from I front of someone's dogs you better be ready for more then just and explanation. When it come to bear hunters, they are a different breed the. Just hunters out to shoot a bear. They can get very serious about their dogs trailing a bear. I know for a Fact.

He took a shot to the Face by a shotgun in service to us. thats what i will always remember about the sheriff. Another thing I thought was funny was when Obama said that the reason america survives is because of the Free Market. When did he start to believe that. He wants to destroy that in our country.

Why not just buy him a hunting Lic. That is what I do not under stand. If the boy wants to have a gun and be responsible then he needs to buy a Lic. Heck sakes. Is the problem him packing a gun or is it buying the Lic. I'm on your side on this one , but he should have his own Lic.

You and the president you voted into office are the worst thing we have on our side of keeping the borders of our own land safe. We are a good country in my mind we are the best.

If he is 15 have him buy a hunting Lic. He should have one anyways at his age. With a valid hunting Lic it changes things. Also I am sure that he can Cary a side arm in the field of hunting. I will keep looking but I think the law was posted before by someone. I know There are people on this site that know the answer. They just have not read it yet.
