Thanks Im usually pretty careful when in the woods.i never thought about it till they put the boundary line across the game unit maps.

The wait is over ,not drawn but have a late bull tag ,so good luck to all who drew.Might try for a leftover tag if any look good,thought there would be some kaibab archery tags left.conrats once again to those who drew.

Since 200 ths latest the results have ever come out was july 24th,and that was only one time.the rest of the yrs were 22nd or earlier.Hopefully there isnt some major screw up.I respect all game and fish does ,just cant figure out why the draw is so hard for them compared to other states.Crossing my fingers today is the day.good luck to all in the draw

I really did think I was going to know on my birthday(today).Then again I really thought I was going to know last Friday too

Always comes down to knowing(not guessing ,not thinking)your own skill level and what you are comfortable with .Comfort level to me is 30 yards,40 max on an elk size animal if shot is perfect( broadside still)everyones is different ,thats just my comfort zone.

Awesome pics.I drew a late bull tag and have shot 5 pts before.Chased some 350 class bulls during muzzle loader season.I am not greedy but will hold out for a good mature 6 pt.,goal is 340-350 range.I wont turn my nose up at a 320 or in that range,anything else will be a blessing.good luck to all who drew.

One more thing then will try and sit still.Is tough on the guys going for the archery draw tags.Hunt starts the 21st of Aug ,thats less then a month to ask for time off and plan your hunt.thought the draw was split to give more advanced notice ? think results have come out about the same with or without the Elk and Antelope tags.Just a thought.....Good luck to all in the draw

Never eaten snake on my own(had at dinners before) is it hard to cook? have to marinade or anything ?

I got a bull tag in 5B,going to try and do my own if lucky enough to down one this year(rubbing good luck charms),my friend has done his own butchering as long as Ive known him and it all comes out great.Ive kinda been lazy .we owned a small meat packing plant in eastern Wa when i was growing up and I used to work the kill floor.Comes in handy when time to field dress

As an Az resident for the last 31 yrs,Ive seen lots of changes in our hunting community.I belong to RMEF(life),NRA(life),ADA,Ducks Unlimited.I have come to a point where I have some time and would like to give back to the sport I love.How can I become involved as a volunteer?I am one of the unfortunate souls chained to the valley,so I am local here.Thanks,and good luck to all in the draw.Steve

Wow,one thing positive about these posts is there sure is alot of passion out there.If that could be harnessed ,alot of good for OUR hunting community,thats all of us,could be done in this state.Passion it what most of us have in common,thats why we hunt.Anyway,not comiitted to either or any view ,usually two sides to all situations.I will always appreciate what officers of the law do for us,and there will always be a few bad apples.Just remember,everyone has bad days ,not an excuse,but I know Ive said things as a supervisor that I later said i was sorry for,just all humans here.Oh ,before I forget,no soapbox here ,I sold my quad when all the new regs came out and dont miss it at all.I have rediscovered where my old truck can take me before my old legs kick in.I had forgotton the long walks and the sounds Id missed on the way to where I was going.Not a knock on quads,just became a hassle and that kills the fun.These are long walks into some nasty places,(like 6A to the far pts of west clear creek).Good news is ,this fall when out hunting ,I will know by the sounds where all my brothers on quads are pushing the elk to me .honestly,we are all members of an awesome community that do have the right to disagree,respect for all is best.Funny thing is I think this was mostly started as an FYI.good luck to all who drew and who are going to draw.

I agree with Red Rabbit,check the big canyons,pick points where you can look up and down the canyons and the benches just under the rims........its all good coues country ,densities maybe not as high but there are some big deer.Good luck,and welcome,Steve

congrats to all who drew,hunt 1173 for me(kaibab archery),didnt know how many would apply but almost filled ,only 53 tags leftover out of 1000,will be nice to be in the kaibab that time of year,then in October will be in Utah for combo deer and elk.Good luck to all
