I was out there camping about a week ago, but I was camping only about half way up Mingus. I heard some gobbles.
Troy you could use a smile in that profile pic.
Haha everyone asks me why I don't smile...I prefer to look serious
as serious as you can wearing capri pants, aviators and sportin a hipster hair-do?
Those are shorts and yes serious with my aviators. I've been called a greaser because of my hair

Do not shot him in the body, or he'll shake it of , laugh at you and be on his Mary way.
My arrow bounced off a turkey once when I shot at the body...never used those broadheads again.

Do you mean calling from a blind at water? You can, it shouldn't hurt. But personally I just like to sit the water and wait.
I hear ya. How about calling? I know that they aren't going to be AS responsive, but I don't see it hurting your chances. I met a guy that calls turkeys every fall, when they aren't strutting and gets his bird.
I would think so. Personally I think it is best to just sit the water and let them come in on their own without a decoy. However, some could argue that a decoy may bring them in if they are just passing by...I don't know a lot about it. If it were me I would keep it simple without a decoy. So, do you think that decoys would be pointless on this hunt?
Yes, calling from a blind at water. Are turkeys active all day?
Yes they are. If I remember correctly, they have a daily routine which involves completing around a one mile loop everyday.

Do you mean calling from a blind at water? You can, it shouldn't hurt. Just not excessive calling.

For archery sitting water is usually your best bet.

My buddy has a Tundra and it is a great truck, he loves it. I have heard bad things about Titan rear ends..
