Coues Deer Celebration 5!!!
Foundry Man replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Amanda, Wow! That was sooooo cool!! My son Parker has begged me about five times to watch it! You should put those on a DVD format and sell them. I would spend a few dollars on one, I'm sure every guy on this site would spend a few bucks for one!! Anyway, THANKS for everything you do for this site! Later,>>Jason -
Dude, I love that, That is freaking awsome!

Hey man, it takes a set of nuts to apologize like that! Good job. I would rather have a pile of antlers hanging around for me to just fondel and rub and hold and molest. I guess thats because I had 15 or so big 4 point muley sheds that I found when I was in high school, I thought it would be "easy" to make a chandelier. Well, I ruind my anters trying. So I have respect for guys that can do that stuff.>>Jason

Wow! Payson Huh? Congrats!!! So You are all done with school and ready to start work. That would be weird calling you Dr. Davis! But you have worked your butt off, you deserve it! I'm proud of you man. Are you eventually going to try and make it back to the mountain home to start a practice? Maybe you and my brother Josh could go in and have an office building together. Eyes and teeth in a one stop shop!!! Well, I am happy for you!>>Jason

What the heck is going on? I don't know! I put my wife in for all kinds of hunts, and she is wearing out my computer, and bugging me every five minutes. Are the credit cards getting hit or what?? I have unleashed a monster with my wife. Does New Mexico take that $8.00 fee off the tag price? Like if I got a $53.00 hit on my bank account, does that mean Goat Tag? $61.00 - $8.00= $53.00??? I am a mess!>>Jason

Congrats Parothead. I glad you get to go elk hunting this year. I hope you smoke a biggun.>>Jason

SunDevil.. These pictures are from my private stash!! In my set-up, I use a Zeiss 65* scope, the Zeiss camera adapter, a Kodak easyshare 5.0 mega-pixel camera, and a HEAVY Velbon tri-pod. In my opinion, thr tri-pod is the key. Also, it takes alot of practice, learning to work everything and still having a deer in your veiwfinder when you shoot!! I LOVE digi-scoping though.>>Jason

Well, It was a nice evening tonight, so I got my oldest two kids in the truck, and we drove 9 miles from our front door. We hiked for about 1/2 hour, and we scored on this pretty little shed! I saw it, then let the kids take turns finding it! Nothing like training up future coues fanatics!! Jacey and Parker with their ugly dad. Not bad for under 20 miles round trip and less than an hour walking!!

If you are craving velvet, here are a few picts I got last summer with my digi-scope outfit. They ought to tide you over till all the trail cam picts start flooding in!! Enjoy!>>Jason

Where Are You Going to be Opening Morning?
Foundry Man replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I will be glassing pigs, wishing I coulda found them when I had a tag. I will be glassing coues does, watching them for 15 minutes, trting to "force" antlers to grow on their heads, before my very eyes. I will be listening to all the shooting, and will be wishing I was in the next canyon over. As I hike to the top of the mountain, I will be cussing my decision to be a hunter. As I reach the top of the mountain, and see the Arizona Desert beneath me, I will thank the Lord I am a hunter.>>Jason. P.S... Then I will make out with my Zeiss Spotting Scope, and tell Fatfootdoc all about it!! -
Come on Houston, just come on out and tell this dude that it IS going to be a tough hunt!>>Jason

Well, we are coming into that time of year when we are putting in for hunts, finding out what hunts we drew and are just plain starting to get exited. These are a few pictures from one of my hunts last year that pretty much sum up (at least for me) what hunting is all about!!! I can't wait for fall!!!>>Jason Cooking redneck style Crashed out, waiting for evening glassing time GOT LUCKY WITH A SET OF SHEDS!! GOT LUCKY WITH A SET THAT WERE STILL ATTACHED!

Foundry Man replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Well, I am glad that you guys like these things. I will make up a bunch and price them dirt cheap, so that any coues whitetailer who wants one can have one. The only thing is, I won't have access to the foundry until about September! SO, you will all have to wait! Start saving the change from the couch, and by the end of summer, you'll have enough peso's for a shed!!! >>>Jason -
Well, I LOVED the banquet. It was fun. I felt pretty good, my bronzes put about $2,400.00 into the ADA and towards Arizona wildlife!! FEELS GREAT!!!>>Jason

Holy Crap, Dude! I guess finding a set of antlers like that is a good enough reason to join this site. Those are some awsome sheds! Congrats.>>Jason
