    Applying together point spread

Edited the title after responses. We would like to try and increase my youth son's chances this year of getting drawn for a specific multi unit hunt, so we're trying to get a group of youths on the application together. Thank you, TR0UBLE SH00TER

Yes he did, thank you. And no, there's not much that would top that experience! We are just trying to hunt a bit closer to home this deer season as our antler-less elk hunt won't be. If not, we'll still be happy enough to receive any tag if we do. Only a few more days now...

    Bear Attack

Anyway: An Arizona man was mauled to death by a bear in an unprovoked, random attack on his property Friday morning, authorities said. Tucson resident Steven Jackson, 66, was found dead next to the black bear in Groom Creek, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. Jackson was outside drinking coffee on his property where he was building a home, when the animal began attacking him shortly before 8 a.m. local time. "It appears that a male black bear attacked Mr. Jackson, taking him unaware, and dragged him approximately 75 feet down an embankment," the sheriff's office described. After hearing Jackson's screams, neighbors attempting to deter the bear by shouting and honking their car horns, but the animal did not relent. A neighbor then retrieved his rifle and shot the bear, killing it. "Unfortunately, by that time Mr. Jackson has succumbed to his horrible injuries," the sheriff's office's press release said. The Arizona Game and Fish Department told authorities that the incident was highly unusual, with a similar incident happening in the mid-1980s. Officials are dumbstruck because there was nothing on site that would have necessarily attracted the bear. At first glance, there did not appear to be anything on the site that would have precipitated a[n] attack by the bear, such as food, a cooking site or access to water," the sheriff's office said. Arizona Game and Fish Department officials believe the bear's aggression was a "predatory response", but they are unsure what caused it. "Our sincere sympathies go out to Mr. Jackson’s family" Sheriff David Rhodes said in a statement. "I cannot express how deeply sad this situation is and can only say our prayers are with you." Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating the incident. Officials ask residents to not shoot bears unless they detect an imminent threat. https://www.foxnews.com/us/unprovoked-arizona-bear-mauls-kills-man-drinking-morning-coffee-police

How long until cards are hit??

https://www.azgfd.com/2023/06/14/update-credit-cards-now-before-fall-draw/the June 19: Deadline to update credit card account information, add PointGuard products, Arizona E-Tag NEWS RELEASE June 16, 2023 PHOENIX — The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) reminds hunters who applied for 2023 fall hunt permit-tags that 11:59 p.m. (Arizona time) Monday, June 19, is the deadline to update credit card or debit card account information. The same deadline applies to purchasing a PointGuard product. Choosing PointGuard Plus, or the standard PointGuard, ensures that applicants can surrender their hunt permit-tag for any reason, and the accumulated bonus points that were expended to draw that hunt permit-tag will be reinstated (if eligible). A portal account is no longer required to purchase a PointGuard product. Information: www.azgfd.gov/pointguard. This also is the final opportunity for this draw to opt-in to Arizona E-Tag. Hunters can download this mobile app from either the Apple or Google Play stores, and opt-in to receive an electronic hunt permit-tag in their AZGFD portal account (this is not an option selected through the draw). Note: Hunters should ensure they have updated to the most recent version of the app, which is compatible with both Apple and android products. The Arizona E-Tag app provides real-time delivery of licenses and hunt permit-tags purchased or drawn after the app has been downloaded. The app also provides the ability to electronically tag a harvested animal in the field and complete the hunter questionnaire. Applicants who opt-in after the deadline will receive a paper hunt permit-tag. Information: www.azgfd.gov/etag. As a reminder, a customer’s AZGFD portal account is the only source for finding out draw results and viewing bonus points. All customers are encouraged to create a free portal account at accounts.azgfd.com/Account/Register (account features for minor dependents are available) and complete the required fields. In the meantime, applicants are encouraged to keep their credit card and debit card account information current. If payment is declined at the time of the draw, the application will not be drawn. Applicants who have been issued a new credit card or debit card, a new expiration date, or had a change to their card’s number should visit draw.azgfd.com/Payment/Update. The last name and order number on the applicant’s draw receipt (sent by email after submission of the application) are required to update the credit card or debit card on file. For applicants who can’t locate their draw receipt, or might have deleted it from their email account, AZGFD is available to update card information by calling 602-942-3000, option “5,” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is important to update payment information for each species for which an application has been submitted. Also, if a credit card or debit card has been used for multiple applications, the appropriate banking institution should be notified that multiple charges from AZGFD could be processed simultaneously. For more information, call the department at 602-942-3000.

    Applying together point spread

With only the Hunter Ed point (because he tagged the buck in my Avatar last year), having 3 or 4 applicants on his application would increase his odds of getting drawn. Right?
