Most 90% silver dollars have .7734 toz of silver in them so multiply that by the spot price of silver and that’s what it is worth in silver content.
The Morgan’s and Peace dollars usually have a slightly higher premium on them than standard “junk” 90% and therefore worth a little more.
Standard junk 90% (half dollars, quarters, dimes etc) have .715 toz of silver per dollar face value which is slightly lower than the 90% silver dollars.
Most coin shops are going to buy both quite a bit under spot. Right now around $55/ dollar face for junk, which is about $17 under the actual spot price of silver.
It’s easy to move in coin shops but you won’t get the best price. For that you have to deal with individuals.
