Anytime Cody, your a great guy to hunt with and did a heck of a job on that buck. Anyone who would go into that hole knowin they might have to pull that much out would deserve that buck, but you especially, i dont think i could be any happier shootin him myself. Ive got plenty of time for a good buck and the smile on your face, constant thanks, and hands shakin hours after the shot was completely worth it. Look forward to hunting with ya more and maybe downin my bull together. GOOD JOB AGAIN!!! you deserve it, btw now that you got a cwt name ya gotta post pics when that mount is done its gonna be one sweeeeeeeet mount! -Tim

That i did CnS, but no regrets. Gained a great friend and competent huntin buddy and met some great folks. Im sure he'll return the favor. Two days later he was still thankin me and freakin' out. shoulda seen em tryin to keep the camera still takin pictures 2 hours later. It was worth it seein him shakin and smilin like a five year old. Great job Cody you deserve that buck as much as anyone!

Dan Cooper Supports Obama
coueschaser3 replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I wouldnt say that it was bad judgement, but considering what was known about Obama and what was known about hillary at that time it was probably a thought out strategic move if you think about it. supporting whom a the time probably had the least chance of beating mccain.....just didnt turn out so well. -
Thanks for the congrats everyone, it was alot of hard work over quite a few years but it was worth it. Real congratulations go to Cody, for his stalk....then another stalk... and finally a perfect shot from a good distance putting the buck down on the spot. Could not have gone better. Ernesto....yes that is Jay Scott, hes friends with Cody and made it up for the morning with Dar. They were a ton of help and definately know their whitetails. Great guys to be out there with and pick up a few pointers from. It was great to meet both of em and have them help out in the pack out from HE!!.

I use a surefire E2L cliped to my hat. Bright as heck, LED, 100 hrs of battery life on low setting which is plenty bright and 11 hrs on high in case you wanna blind everthing you look at. E1L is probably a better choice being lighter and smaller and only takes one battery instead of two. Plus they are indestructable. But rumor has it Surefire may be coming out with a head lamp.

I just recieved the 2800 i ordered and have one problem... I have a 29" waist and the waist belt wouldnt fit anyone under 32". i called badlands and they said you can fix it or send it in and they can modify it but i really would rather not waste the time or money. they said its fairly simple but i havent decided exactly how to do it exactly right. Has anyone else out there had this problem and fixed it? if so what is your advice. I absolutely love the whole pack i just need it to fit properly.

Not arizona but check out www.grizzlycustom.com. a buddy of mine does the rifles and builds a heck of a gun. Also built guns for Ted Nugent and Tom Selek. They are in montana. -
Badlands 2800???
coueschaser3 replied to coueschaser3's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
called badlands got a kinda half a$$ed answer to do it myself cuz theyll just cut it shorter. which on that pack seems pretty unlikely without screwin it up. Just emailed their product manager, with what i hear about the company im sure theyll do it right. just really want it for a hunt next week. -

some good whiteys in 22
coueschaser3 replied to jldeerslayer's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I dunno what your talkin about, they aint any whitetails in 22...maybe a few spikes and forkies. Id never waste time in that unit......... -
Gotta find new ways to make it interesting....probably wait for a left over and pull somethin i never hunted before and try to get another with a recurve or move to a long bow.

That is true. For any ticket to be valid it must be served by a police officer or serving officer. You do not have to pay the ticket in the mail or show up at court until that is done. Typically the court has officers with the specific purpose of serving people that recieve photo radar tickets. Ive chucked two and im still good. One was by prescott's new ones, i figured for goin 32 in a 25 they wouldnt send an officer all the way to phoenix to serve me. I was right.
