Brother and I walked into this buck at 50 yards before we knew he was there. This was 2 weeks ago. Hanging out in a over hunted area. The rut will produce bucks in areas that even suprise me! Hers some neat pictures from the last storm 2 weeks ago, while bowhunting. -

Found 4 coveys of birds that were anywhere form 15 birds to 60 birds a covey. If I had a few dogs I could have done very well this year. Spent alot of time chasing deer this year. I vowed to shoot more quial next season. -

Im not running a dog this year. Retired a dog that my dad left for me. My Dad is moving back from Oklahoma this year. He has the best line of dogs hes had in 30 years. He went from German Shorthairs to English Pointers. He's had Crooked River Kennel for 25 years now. Hes got a litter for sale right now if anyones intrested. -
Work got canceled so I went to Roosevelt to Glass for deer and do some Quail hunting. Quail hunting not so fun, I missed a few and got skunked. As for this Yote. He ate 130 grains of lead. I stopped in the road to glass and I saw 2 dogs in my binos. They didn't even here me. So I got out and walked up the hill and found both walking up the wash. Got the second one on a dead run at 150 yards. Also saw 2 muley bucks and 4 does. Kimber Montana 7mm-08

Well finally got some time to post my pics from the best out of state hunt I've ever been on. My dad met a guy in Canada on a hunt. They quickly became buddies. 4 years later he calls him and tells us to put in for the draw and come on up to Lander, WY. Wow, When we got into town a freak snow storm that dumped 30 inches of snow in 2 days. I thought I would never hunt Antelope in 2 1/2 feet of snow. My hunt didn't last but one day. After looking at over 400 goats. I missed the first one, then left and found another herd of about 150. I climbed up on a hill looking down. 335 yards. I got my moneys worth. After running out of ammo, I reloaded and dropped him in his tracks. 16'' and 14'1/4. What a goat. There were several 15-16 inch bucks. A few days later my dad and I shot to giant bodied deer. They both fell to my Rem 300. SAUM at 250 yards. Both bucks fell within 2 feet of each other. What a hunt of a life time. My goat was shot with a Kimber Montana in 7mm-08. Hope we get inveted next year.

This Bobcat was in my buddy's back yard. He went to take out the trash, and had a star-off for a minute. He then closed the door and got his camera. We walked to the front and whistled at him. He said the rabbit was blinking its eyes at him but couldn't move.

I've been to Alska 3 times. I love fishing the Keni. My wife was lucky to catch a 52 pounder the first 15 mins out, then she sat for 6 hours waiting for us to catch ours. I went out with a guy who was in his seventies he told me he caught a 83 pounder some years back.
