Happy birthday Mr. Quimby -
Phil, not sure of the battery life yet, I've had the camera programmed and batteries loaded for 2 weeks while I built the security box for it and it's been out in the field for 1 week and it showed 3/4 battery life left when I checked it Sunday. Sure was nice packing that little bitty camera way back into the hills! Here is another close up photo

Happy B-day Chef! So who makes the Chef b-day dinner? -
Good eye Doug There just might be another one in the area I have not put them up together in order to compare, I am just going by what I get now at thier current locations and what I got last year with the Moultrie at this location. I had 136 photos off the ScouGuard and only 6 or so that I couldn't find some kind of critter in the photo that triggered it................most were deer.............and most of those are bucks........I just posted the small ones

CONCERNS WITH COUESWHITETAIL.COM
azpackhorse replied to tjhunt2's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Basically you should be respectful to others and treat them as you would want to be treated and as long as you fall within the guidelines that Amanda has set for this forum it's all good. It's really no different then your everyday non-cyber life but unfortunately being able to respond or post remotely tends to bring out the butthead in people. I'm not even going to get into the "ethics" of helping people as far as areas to hunt but as far as I know they fall within the guidelines that Amanda has set.................... -
CONCERNS WITH COUESWHITETAIL.COM
azpackhorse replied to tjhunt2's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
We are currently developing the technology that will allow a selected individual to send a severe electrical impulse through to an "offender's" keyboard. The technology is the easy part, what we are stuck on is who will decide which people will get the shock...................................................... -

ask firstcoueswas80, he guides down in that country seriously, there are Coues all over that country. I spend around $150/month in fuel scounting down there starting in July. Put in a little time if you are able to, if not then wing it. You will figure it out.

You are correct about the East side getting hammered, the easiest access to the West side is through Empire Ranch off of 83. There are a few ways to get in off of I-10 but it's a long haul to the mountains from there.

Lots of Turkeys down on the Blue, just be careful that your not in New Mexico! Check around mile post 26 or 27. If you're not sure how to get there send me a PM.

America Remembers!
azpackhorse replied to Buckhunter's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I remember being on an Antelope hunt and not knowing exactly what was going on that day, the sadness and disbelief. It is bad enough to lose a family member or friend to violence, I know, but to have lost someone to a coward terrorist............I personally would carry a deep burning hate the rest of my life(sad but true). My youngest son shipped out to Ft Benning yesterday so he could have his first day in the Military be on 9/11, I am so proud of him. My thoughts and prayers to family and friends of those who fell on 9/11 as well as those who have fallen as a result of 9/11. I do have a little satisfaction knowing that one or more of the things we manufacture here at work WILL go to the middle east to help in our fight against terrorism. -
Nice! enjoyed the humor but a seriously exceptional goat! Congratulations man!

Great write up and photos Jake! Congrats to the hunters!
