Casey, thought you were crossing over to the dark side this year and applying for Mule deer? besides, I staked claim to 3 of those tags already bro.

I was told by a AZGF employee that those who applied on-line and are succesful in the draw will be notified by 7/17, thier payment must be recieved by 7/27. I would imagine that AZGF will need at least another week to reallocate tags to the next in lines so I am guessing that the masses will know results by 8/3. Since the only thing I applied for on-line is sheep, I am watching both e-mail and snail mail very closely........................................... Best of luck in the draw!

I have often thought about the portable stands myself. I would imagine they are legal but not sure, they would definately be useful and as far as being ethical as far as I am concerned it aint no different that put'n one in a tree. Legal and useful is enough for me.

Has the prices went up that much on those things? I bought one around 8 years ago and paid $189 at Sports Authority (back when they sold handguns). They are great little pistols.

Took this photo this morning up on Mt. Lemon on my way to look for sheds Then we came across this Mearns, didn't know there were Mearns up there. Then I came face to face with this guy waaay up high, it gave me plenty of warning though I pitched a couple of pebbles at it to get it to pose for the camera but I aint that brave when it comes to rattlers, it was a very neat snake. Is it a Black Rattler?

I seen a white Dodge there parked with 2 other Dodge trucks, looked like they were camped. I was in a little white Dodge Dakota 4x4.

I was up there last weekend, we tried to go to Tick Flat but my buddy's truck couldn't make it (chevy) so we went down to the Black river crossing instead. The fishing was good, the river is flowing just right for fishing. No bears, no snakes, it was a good trip!

I had to send my Leicas in for a chipped lense, my release smacked the lense and took a little chunk of glass out. I sent them in with my warranty card and had them back in 3 weeks with no charge to me. I am extremely happy with Leica's warranty work thus far.

Did a little shed hunt'n this morning way up high in unit 33, found 2 sheds. We didn't see any bucks still packing antlers, did see a couple bucks that had just lost theirs and a couple that had started growing already. Here's the first one found here are the two together

I just bought a Ruger M77 from a widow my buddy knows, it was made in 1977 and has never been fired! Been sitting in a soft case for 30 years! This thing is absolutely spotless, not a wear mark or nothing! Gorgeous blue finish and walnut stock. It has a crappy 30 year old 4x32 Tasco on it. Comes with sling, one box of OLD ammo and soft case. $450 or trade for ? perhaps aluminum boat or ? I can posts photo tomorrow. As I was taking a photo this morning the rifle slipped and rubbed against one of the antlers so now it does have one mark in the stock knocked $50 off price (price was $500) is now $450

I like it, it adds a little more excitement to the process The part I don't like is that it will also push the date out of when we know the results, at least it won't affect Antelope hunters this year!
