Animals will still die... I used to work for Chama Land and Cattle as a fly fishing guide.. We used to tag bulls every few years inside the game park.. Shooting them is easy the problem is you need to recover them in a shot period of time or they might die. Even in breeding areas which were 600 acres you could lose animals.. it was a mess.. they stopped doing it becasue of the few animals that would die or get hurt... Jason

Like anything it has too sides... I think it is G &F's to try to get some age on our bucks... Studies have shown that mature deer are more successfull breeders.. Unfortunatly, most people have a hard time aging deer. In any, case at least the dept is trying things.. Jason

Indian Hills DIY hunt... Crazy Help
jamaro replied to jamaro's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in New Mexico
It was really neat to see them running around.. For some reason I did not think that mulies would put up with all the traffic... I know every year they have a look-out campaign- looking for poachers... I think I am going to try to help with that this year. Last year I think there were two deer shot with arrows... It was not good becasue people often associate hunters with poachers.. IMO not quite the same... J- Are there any coues up Little Walnut?
