Im not 100% positive but am just quoting the AZGFD Warden. I believe the size of the property contributes to distance between posting signs but I may be wrong.

If the road is marked with the proper signage and not blocked it’s still off limits as it serves as legal notification. Just an fyi per AZGFD warden conversation. Now the property lines may not be posted properly but that’s something you’d have to determine. I believe the statute states all corners of the property should be marked and posted, and then every 400 yards concurrently it needs to be posted. Now if they (property owner or employee) give you verbal notice then you are warned and next time it’s considered trespassing. Unfortunately this is a conversation I had with GF agent about this exact issue in 36c.

I imagine if you don’t get caught you’ll be fine. It’s been posted pretty hard by the owners.

I will down here after hearing the horror stories of getting a ticket. Have you hunted 36c and are familiar with what’s going on? I’ve hunted it for 40 years. It’s not just the signs, it’s locked off gates denying access back in to some awesome country.

It’s not a new owner. It’s the same owner of the ranch for the last 30 years.

I spoke with the 36C Warden for the area yesterday and the lockdown for all of the Santa Margarita Ranch Properties is being strictly enforced. No Trespassing and No Hunting on all of their properties. Access into Thomas Canyon and Schafer Camp is only by foot now and you have to stay off the SMR to hike in. It’s about impossible to get back in there on a day hike, would require an aggressive hike way back Into either of those areas and making a spike camp. Unfortunately they have properties dotted all over the unit. Per the Game Warden “they have cell operated cameras” as well as security guards enforcing all of their No Hunting and No Trespassing. Per the Game Warden all of their signs and locking of the gates have all been done in accordance with the law and are 100% legally done. Security is calling the Sheriff and AZGFD on violators. This really sucks and I hope it gets resolved in the future but it seems like the owners of the ranch have really dug their feet in.

Such disappointment seeing this happening in 36C.

Just like the title says. This tripod is in excellent to like new condition. This is a Outdoormans Tall aluminum tripod with the center post extension. Also included is the Jim White pan head. If you're not familiar with the Jim White Tripod head it's still one of the best made and is sought after by die hard Coues deer hunters and Western hunters. Everything works as it should and is in excellent condition. Outdoorsman's doesn't make the tall anymore but just offers a tall center post extension. This tripod goes to 74" extended without the head and can all the way down to ground level. Only reason selling is I don't need 2 setups anymore. $700 shipped obo.
