I personally love the muzzle break on my Remington 300 Ultra. Not too tough to wear ear plugs around your neck and throw them in when needed. I've also shot quite a bit at game in a hurry without the plugs and not had any problem, there is a big difference between one shot at a monster buck and multiple shots at a target.

Happy birthday Tim! I hope you have a great day and maybe a nice present by finding a huge bull to keep an eye on until you can put an arrow in him!

Laugh all you want but they've saved my a$$ more then once. When you're loaded down with cams and other gear and clawing your way through the thick stuff then all of a sudden whack a snake nails you in the shin, not real funny. I've had more close calls such as that then I care to think about and most of them have been down in your neck of the woods.

Great pictures Jeff, I would have to say as is bull number three is around the 350 mark and still a bit left to grow. I'll wait for the final score after you ground check him!

Beautiful mount, looks like he did a great job! Gotta love the feeling of getting a mount back from the taxi and remembering the hunt.

I've bought two scopes and two sets of binos from them and they are great! Won't shop for optics any other place.

Very good post Steven, the head looks great and I look forwarded to trying them. Thanks for taking the time to write up the process, it is very informative. -
I took the girls up to Willow Springs yesterday, mainly just to get out of the heat and have a good time. We ended up missing a few pretty good ones and landed five smallies all little. We had a small osprey circling us for quite a while before he swooped down for lunch.

Very nice mount, wonderful work.

Very interesting stuff Scotty, thanks for keeping us informed.

I would hold out Lee and get that unit 10 rifle tag, you've waited this long why throw your points away on something less then one of the top goat units. There isn't a BC buck behind every tree and it can be dang tough but that's part of the hunt. The genetics are there and there just is flat out a lot of country where you'll find a true trophy goat.

Sweet pictures Doug! Awesome as always.

Use the search function on the forum, there's quite abit of info on them and some good reviews.

It does not have a spot for a gun or bow although there are plenty of straps that you could strap it to the outside. It does have the ability to hold a camel pack.

Cleaning out the garage. A set of Aluminum Reese Ramps. 1250lbs combined weight load. Good shape $50. Wolfpack systems back pack that I bought from RR several years ago. I've used it for a ton of hunts but upgraded to the Outdoorsman's pack. Still in great shape. $50.

Ramps are sold. Make me an offer on the pack.
