Congratulations on a beautiful buck! I'm with Gino on this one and think he'll go in the 105-109" range. Regardless of score he is an awesome buck.

I personally use a Vortex Viper in 4x12x40 on one of my coues guns and the Bushnell Elite 4200 in 2.5x10x40 on another. I find myself constantly cranking both scopes up throughout the day but then starting out and finishing on 6 or 8. I very rarely find myself wanting more and feel that the quality of the scope is more important then the power of the scope. Just my $.02

Sometimes it is better to just keep your mouth shut but I can't stand it on this one! A good quality tripod is one of the most important pieces of equipment one can have! It can make middle of the road optics good to great, it can make great optics even better and more efficient, it can increase the amount of animals spotted and increase the effective distance one can glass, and most important to me it can really help in judging an animal before I take off on a stock. Anyone that has used one knows just HOW important it is. I am sorry Coues Archer but your statement couldn't be further from the truth!

I have a Vortex Viper 4-12x40 with the V-Plex and absolutely love it. The clarity and magnification is wonderful and it gathers light really good.
