We got my uncle that adapter for Christmas and all i can say is WOW!! Yes the price is very high but it is such a joy to use on coues hunts when we glass for 9 hours a day. It makes life so much easier and allows for quick glancing from either set of eyes. For anyone that has ever lost a buck while trying to throw on the spotter, you know it is frustrating. this thing virtually eliminates that. If you can afford it i highly recommend it and anything from Outdoorsmans, they stand behind their product like no one ive ever met Definitely one of the coolest contraptions i could carry in the field, just gotta get the spotter first

So now i dont even get mentioned in the post?? Man im really starting to wonder if im ever gonna see my pack and binoculars again...
-
I agree except i think you understated it by a loooooong shot

Not lookin to good...

If i were to backpack in i have to imagine i would camp near a tank or spring and carry tablets or a water bottle filtration system in an emergency. Im sorry to hear the antler were cut off but i am also sorry to hear all the lead flung. It was hard to focus on the story with all the lead flying around in my head. I dont know how i could shoot all those times let alone bed the buck and leave... Just my .02

How come every time i carry a lion tag there are none in the state and the minute i take it out, they pop out like rodents???? Just the way it works i guess And at least he carried a sidearm, most hikers i know do not...

I can understand leaving a gun at the place my animal fell but leave it along a road i just cant imagine... -
Floyd has two tripods and neither one are CF. His are "proprietary" and typical of everything else over there, way over priced. have you ever owned an outdoorsmans tripod? definitely the best purchase i have made out of all my hunting equipment. their product, while not CF, is light, sturdy and wont crack like CF. they stand behind their product more than anyone i have met. they will clean, oil, and put new feet on the tripod whenever i ask. after 5 years, my dads started to have a little friction in one of the legs and they gave him a brand new one on the spot. they also recently changed their clamps to a high density plastic type material and offered to swap out my old aluminum ones for free. Outstanding CS and company to buy from. while they are not CF, i felt the need to stick up for the good ol local boys who really care about you.
