Drill the trunk full of holes (harbor freight has 18" bits) fill full of salt and pour 30% vineger (home depot) in the salt holes3 applications .It will help kill the feeder roots out where the canopy use to be. Stump grinding will not kill the feeder roots. Good Luck

I was told a few years back that these had to be scored by a Master Scorer? Never happened.
