A freind and I hunted unit 27 this year.

Unless somthing has just changed that I don't know about: Desert Bull is right Unit wide antelope tags are very differnt than unit wide elk tags. Even though it is a "unit wide" landowner tag you can not just go hunt any public land in the unit like you can with a unit wide elk landowner tag. The first day you will have to hunt on the ranch who you bought your permit from. If there are not any legal bucks on the ranch you may be reassigned to a differnt "unit wide" ranch. You will only be able to hunt on ranches (deeded or Leased public land) that are signed up, and only as the "unit wide" option Most of the unit wide ranches are either small or have few antelope on them. At least you have three days this year instead of two like before. Good luck on your hunt.

I have a New Mexico antelope permit for sale. This is for my nieghbors ranch which is located in antelope unit 16 in southwest NM (south of I-10) between Deming and Lordsburg. The Game and Fish issues 1 private permit and 2 public draw permits for this 53,000 + ranch. There are some very nice bucks taken every year on this big ranch. We have had a good spring and a moderate summer so far. You can choose to hunt during the archery season aug 18-26, Rifle Oct. 6,7and 8th. We are seeing some possible B&C bucks already. He is asking $2500.00 this includes the out of state license fee. Call 505-388-0220 or email wbillings@aznex.net

What about a muzzleloader catagory seperate from the rifle catagory? Should be quite a few muzzleloader only hunters that will enter? -

I ended up with an extra landowner tag this year and I need to sell it. This tag is for New Mexico's unit 16b, "The Gila Wilderness Unit". The dates are Oct. 13-17 or Oct. 20-24th. Bulls in the 350-380 class are taken every year in this unit. I just lowered my asking price to $3950.00. I could point the buyer in the right direction on where to find a good bull. 16B Early Rifle Bull (New Mexico!)

Not sure if your buddy is talking about the landownder tag I have for sale or not? I think there are only about 5 of these this year. But I do have one of them for sale, this is a unit wide 16b rifle tag Oct. 13-17 tag. $4500.00. 505-388-0220 In 2006 the draw odds for a non resident in 16b was 5%. There are some nice bulls in 16b every year, but they are not everywhere. Should be agood year this year with all the green feed. If you scout and hunt hard a guy can kill a 350-380 bull almost any year. -
I am sure this has been talked about before but I could not find much with the search. I am looking to buy a few trail cameras to use here in NM. I want digitals, I plan on using memory cards, and a card reader so I can see the pictures in the field. I would want the date and time displayed also. Any advise on a modle or a person who builds them would be helpful. Thanks

Shed antlers are ok to pick up and keep, just not antelered skulls or antlers with pieces of skulls attached.

HOTTER THAN HELL!!!
Brush Buster replied to Foundry Man's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Let me just say this man is a true artist, I have personally seen his work and can asure you that it is awesome! Keep pooring that hot liquid F.M. and you will be living that dream beofre you know it. Every hunter needs some wildlife art around the house or trophy room to blend in with the taxidermy.
