Ok I have some traps set up but one set I have caught 2 rabbits and while the rabbit is caught in the foot trap a bobcat is eating part of it and then burrying the rest not too far from my set. This has happened twice to me and with it getting late in the season I need to get this thing any ideas?

Would it be a good idea to mabey use a rabbit in distress call and try to call it in? I think Im going to set up a camera on the spot also just to see exactly what that cat is doing!!

Ok I had some questions about diseases while im trapping and skinning. I shoe horses part time so my hands have cuts or scratches on them most of the time. I ware gloves when I skin but is there anything else I need to be doing so I dont give me or my kids anything. They like to be there when I skin so any ideas? All I have been catching is skunks and I heard most of them have rabies so that is why I ask.

I got this pic on one of my game cameras but it is in the middle of great deer country. What is the best way to get him without spooking all the deer away? I dont know if calling would scare the deer. Any ideas? Oh and can anyone tell if this is a male?

Im looking for the book shoot-out at dawn wrote by one of the powers brothers. I think it would be a good book to read in my tree stand in dec. and jan. The library has 2 copys but they were both out. So any help will be appriciated!!!

Im using a live trap and have a bobcat in the area (i have seen him crossing the road) but what is a good bait to use to get him to go in my trap? All I seem to be catching is skunks and 1 coon any ideas would be nice and very appriciated!!!

I just heard that they just came out with another book "Power Pride and Predudice" (sorry i dont know how to spell that) I think thats what its called. Has anyone read it?

I think it was wrote from the sherrifs point of view. I heard it was good to but shoot-out at dawn i heard is better. I want to read both.
