It’s alright, when you screw up one day there will be some forum written on your petty mistake where guys are picking you apart. These are good guys, that have helped a lot of people learn and experience the outdoors. This is a petty mistake that really doesn’t matter in the grande scheme of life.

Guess what, if you hunt long enough, in enough places, you’re gonna make a mistake. And when you do, you’ll realize we are all human. All you guys care about is crucifying anyone you can.

You’ve never shot a deer from a road? Never? Not once?

Man if it were a 20 ga or smaller I would be on my way up there. What a great deal on the Browning. For anyone interested, the superposed is a great shotgun, and this one is from 1974 made in Belgium.

I honestly have no idea, you’re probably right considering the wear on the truck and the work I’ve had to do, which is why I am asking so low for it

Looking For 1995 Toyota 4Runner Engine
TrackerG replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Classified Ads
The 3.4 swap is most certainly the way to go. It is a little costly, but with a 3.4 you do not loose power, like you would with a 22re swap. And the 3.4 is an amazing engine if its maintained. -
Really? Interesting, that is pretty much the rifle I have. Except a steel action. With a full mag and scope my rifle weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces, and the recoil is pretty minimal. Its actually good enough that I have been spotting my own impacts on game.

35B late season rifle and glass
TrackerG replied to lastemp11's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I've hunted down in 35b a fair bit. The deer can be very pockety I have noticed. There isn't a ton of roads in the southern portion of the unit, and it is very thick in a lot of areas. In my opinion it is well worth pulling the trigger on a VERY good set of 15s. In that unit, I feel like the deer are pretty pressured by the end of December. I would try hard to find areas that other hunters are overlooking. I feel like the glassing points that are a 2 mile hike away from any roads are far superior. I have backpack hunted that unit as well. I personally have never seen any issues with illegal activity. I would recommend camping somewhere on the north end of the San Rafael valley. There is a few good pull offs that would be an easy/ safe haul to get a camper in.
