Nice pups, I wish my wife would let me get one. My lab needs a buddy. I don't bird hunt as much as some, I get out probably 20 times a year. Are GSPs so high strung that I would have to take them out every day?

Does anyone out there have a 357 S&W they are looking to sell? I have priced new but I have not looked at used. I am considering blued but would like stainless. I am considering all lengths but would like the larger frame.

I talked to a game warden a while back who said you can not carry a gun on bow hunts but if someone is down by the boarder they would not ticket them.

I have an XD-40 that my wife will not shoot. I would like to get a S&W 357 4 or 5 inch. Her dad raised her on revolvers so something that looks like a Glock is off limits. This is a great gun. I love it but I want something my wife will shoot. If there is anyone that wants to trade that would be the best. I don't want to have to worry about shopping around this close to the hunting season since I got drawn in 34A. This pistol comes with everything it had when I bought it, a box and a half of 40 cal. ammo, and the belt holster that holds the extra clip. I will consider $450 cash but would rather trade for a S&W 357 stainless with black grips. I would like to do a shoot before trade, you shoot mine...I shoot yours.

My fav is the 300 mag. I shot a coues with it and it did the job just fine. I can shoot a coues out to 700+yds if I wanted to. It will take any elk just as good as others. I have heard of 7mm getting stuck in ribs and that is why I didn't get one. Not to say the 7mm hasn't had its fair bit of Elk. As far as rifles go I am a big fan of the Ruger M77. I have the mark II and the Hawkeye. The hawkeye is the newer model that has a lighter trigger. They go for around $600 new.

This is almost perfect. Just a little smaller since it is the snub nose and I like the S&W better. I think the actions are better. Thanks for the tip though. I might keep it in mind or give the guy a picture of the XD. Just sent him an e-mail

Not to throw a wrench in this but My Nikon Monarchs can find anything my buddys Steiners can and he is a heck of a scouter. I have used Swaros and yes I loved them but for the money, and Nikons 25 year guarantee; Nikons are best for your buck. BUT…I would like to think my Nikons are just a stepping stone to Swaros. Maybe once I get older and can afford Swaros, I will enjoy that luxury.

Nice!!! I just bought a 22-250. If I had seen this I would have thought about buying a nice scope to trade. I agree with Scout'm; Don't do it!

When I put in new brass it chambers fine. When I put in a reload it is hard to chamber. Do you think there could be an issue with the brass? Or do you think it is because I am not getting the best resizing in the press?
