I would say they're pretty accurate. There were only 25 tags in unit 27, so even if 2-3 people didn't return their surveys (assuming those people filled their tags) the success rate would still be low for a rut hunt. Honestly, the G&F has made it incredibly easy to report harvest results.

Honestly, it sounds like if you put a cam up, there's a good chance it will be taken. Personally, I'd look for another place.

I took this buck on the late 23 hunt. It was very hard....saw quite a few little bucks with does. My brother had a tag along with me & didn't even fill his tag. Biggest buck we saw other than this one was a 160ish typical 4x4.

That's Ord for ya. If you have a cam up there you can pretty much expect its gonna get tampered with. It's just to close to the valley/highway.

Here's the buck I was able to take on 12/23. I am truly blessed as a hunter! I've been lucky in the past & was lucky again this year. He has some cool extra points around his eyeguards as well as a cheater off his right antler. The last picture is a buck I took in NM back in September. Enjoy the pics!

How were the hunts this year up in 23? Saw a couple of nice bucks that were posted. Seems overall it was pretty slow though.

Luck smiled upon me on this years archery hunt & I was able to take this beautiful buck at 35 yards quartering away.

My brother does. I've personally seen him take down two bulls with them. Both were pass thru's & neither elk went over 100 yards. I also killed a bull with the two blade stinger.
