Well i wouldnt consider her an avid shooter so idk lol. Is the 7mm to much for whitetail?? How does the 7mm kick compared to an .06

Well thanks guys i appreciate the help. Im leaning towards the 7mm now. Does it kick more than the .270 because my girlfriend will be using this gun for her hunt as well.

I appreciate all the help guys! Im starting to lean towards the 7MM. I would get on 06 but my dad already has one i can use anytime and im really looking for that flat shooter. How much more does a 7mm kick than a .270 because my girlferiend will be using this gun for her hunt as well.

Ok guys im looking to buy a new rifle that i can take long shots at coues with. Possibly 400+ yards. Either a .270 or 7mm.Im also looking for one that will be able to take down elk from maybe 200 yards. Basically i want an all around rifle that is very flat shooting and very accurate. Which rifle would be better? I really want a long shooting deer rifle. Help me guys!

Well thanks vegasjeep i would love to see the unit! I actually put in for the 36b late nov tag so hopefully i pull it. If i do then maybe we can hunt together. Just an option u know?

Hey everyone im brand new to the board and i am glad to be a member. I love hunting Coues Whitetail!! So i had a question for you guys. Im going to put in for the leftover whitetail tags in AZ of course and i have been trying to decide over 36A or 36B for the last month. From personal experience or what you kno, what unit would be better to hunt in late NOV. Or maybe what unit has more deer. Ill find the deer as long as there in the mtns lol. Help me out guys!!

Also whats the price range for a 7mm compared to a .270. I know i can get a brand new .270 at walmart for 250 bucks. Im trying to keep it in that price range. I bet they sell the 7mm for the same price?
