    SPOT - (Not the dog)

I just got the Delorme InReach. It is a lot like the SPOT Connect but it will allow you to do a 4 month block of service. With the InReach you have 91, you can send predetermined texts or if connected to a Cell phone you can send and receive text messages. The ability to send and recive texts is the major diffrence between SPOT and InReach along with coverage. Here is a comparison from GPS Central.. http://www.gpscentral.ca/products/tracking/ACR-Spot-inReach-Comparison.html

    S4 gear lock down

I have only had mine a few mts so no real field time but I can say that so far I really like it. I like the protection and the fact that when I do need to get going in a hurry my binos are held tight to my chest and not bouncing. Before I would have to hold my binos with my hand so they would not bounce. The other big plus is that when I would use a traditional harness I had it so tight(to help with bouncing) that it wold get tough to hold bins up for long times as the straps pulled them down. With this you have zero resistance pulling on them.

Check the Outdoorsmans, http://www.opticsplanet.com/ or http://www.bearbasin.com. they seemed to have the best prices when I got mine.

  17. So I first need to start off by saying yes I do spend time on other sites….(sorry Amanda) But everyone that knows me knows I hunt MD and WT so its not that big of a surprise that I spend time on MM.com. So I get home and start my evening off doing some research for my upcoming MD hunt in CO and wait…. wait … WTH I could swear I kept seeing a good friend of mine flashing out of the corner of my eye! I think wow I must have went to CWT.com and not MM.com so I check that and nope, not the case. But why do I keep seeing him in an advertisement… this is weird. I must be dreaming about him as we were just talking yesterday about his Unit 10 trophy Bull tag and how I am “going to tag along” since I know the unit! That has to be it… that is why his smiling face keeps popping into my head…..So after the first 2 or so times I realize that I am not dreaming about him rather MM keeps flashing a picture of our very own Coues Deer hunter Chris (SunDevil) on their website….I was going to say what a trader as he is not a MD hunter but then I change my tune as he is still being faithful and posing with a Coues Deer!..... So does that mean we know a celebrity? Congrats Chris on your new “Multi WWW Forum Fame”! PS. The only thank that could have made this picture any better would have been if he was wearing a CWT.com shirt and a UofA hat! Chris

    Tripod Pistol Grips?

I have both the outdoorsman head and the pan attachment and love it. There are other pistol grips out there but not many! Really there is noting compatible or even close to the quality of the outdoorsman head. The others seem to be really jerky and when glassing that is a bad thing. Most tripods and heads are for the photo industry and pistol grips are not very popular, thus the reason not a lot of options for them. My opinion is if you can't buy the outdoorsman head then get a good pan head! Best of luck thats just my .02 cents.
