I have to agree with Cramerhunts. Sonoran coues deer like shooting cattle? That must be a very remote ranch. I've spent a lot of time in Mexico and every deer we shot sure as heck seemed wild. The pressure is much lower, the deer density and quality is much higher, but it is definitely still challenging to shoot a giant. But then again I've spooked a lot of cattle in my day so there's that.

Beautiful cat! I've still never killed one. I had one jump into a makeshift ground blind I was calling from and I couldn't get him killed. It's a jinx. I would love to get one mounted, and if I do I hope he looks like that one! Great job!

Who said a thing about extremists that wish death on America? Would I feel differently if muslim extremists killed my family? WTF are you talking about? The cancer is to cast such a broad net, which is an act of extremists on both sides. It makes for a closed mind. Not all Muslims want to kill America or Americans. That's just an ignorant statement. And I don't know how the heck gays got involved but I know plenty of people who are gay that also know that it's not for me. It isn't for me to approve of. It's their life. Live and let live. I would recommend getting one set of canyons off of the main dirt in 7 springs. Should get you away from the traffic and there have always been a lot of pigs in there. We used to hunt a couple miles north of the campground. As you know, most will try to glass from the main road vantage points. 1/2 mile goes a long way. If I could remember any specifics I would share them. It's been awhile. You'll find them. Good luck!
