  1. I was just wondering if anyone has ever looked through a pair of the 10x43 ed2 zen rays? I have been reading alot of good reveiws on these but havent seen anything about them on this sight. I was thinking about getting a pair for my girlfreind to use on her up coming hunt.

  2. My 2010 archery desert muley made Eastmans Bowhunting Journal! I just wanted to share this with all you guys on this awesome sight. I don't get to post much because my house got broken into  (major bummer) and my internet acces is limited. But I do check in on the sight from time to time. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures and have a chance to read the article. Happy hunting and good luck on the up coming draw and all your hunts that are just around the corner. DSC00776.jpg

  3. Well after a very long wait for my two little brothers junior deer hunt one of the two got it done. After coming down from Northern Arizona late last night we woke up at 330 in the morning in order to get to our glassing spot before the sun came up. We spotted 9 different bucks before 7 and just had to choose which one we wanted to go after. After a long stalk my little brother made an incredible shot through some very dense cover and the hollering began. I was a very proud big brother this morning and we couldnt have got done with out the help of my dad and my cousin David. That is one hunt I dont think we will ever forget! Hopefully tomorrow will bring us another first buck for my other little brother who will be driving down from page after his football game. post-2923-1255145970_thumb.jpg

  5. Well guys 2008 was a good year for us, nothing real big for us but it was a fun year: The year started with the January bowhuntpost-2923-1233277833_thumb.jpg Then it was off to chase some spring gobblers with family and freinds post-2923-1233278092_thumb.jpg post-2923-1233278136_thumb.jpg I finally got my Az antelope tag after 14 years of applying!!post-2923-1233278375_thumb.jpg Then I went on a 14 day elk hunt with my dad but Im sad to say I didn't get any pictures just alot of video. It was a fun hunt watching my dad pass up bull after bull (26 to be exact ) but he just couldn't get the right bull to to give him a shot. Then it was off to help some cousins on a whitetail hunt. The first picture is of my cousins first ever deer at the age of 31. We hunted in a place where his dad passed away in a tragic hunting accident about 16 years ago. It was the first time he's hunted in there since. The second picture is of another cousin that was there the day the accident happend. Both deer were killed within 500 yards of eachother. post-2923-1233279233_thumb.jpg post-2923-1233279276_thumb.jpg Then it was time to go with my brother and dad on a mule deer hunt, this is only my brothers second deer ever. He is a very busy man with him going to the u of a and all. So the time I get to hunt with him is special. Im also going to throw in his first deer ever since it was a whitetail(2007 ).post-2923-1233279627_thumb.jpg post-2923-1233279680_thumb.jpg All in all it was a fun 2008!!!

  6. You gotta start by re-posting a couple of yours, Buddy!! You've done pretty fair in that desert you love!! ;)

I'll post up some non-desert success after January 31st! ;) Hard to drag a guy out of the hills and into that hot desert!!! ;)

I dont want to just start this to show my success gino. I am just curious to see how the desert treats people. I will start by posting a pic of the man that put the passion of bowhunting in my blood. My dad. The picture isnt the best but it was his first desert mule deer with a bow. This was back when he was my age. post-2923-1233099120_thumb.jpg

  7. WOW thats one big framed buck! I don't know about score on a buck like that. I think he'll score less than he looks though do to his small front forks atleast on his left. I can't image him going less than 180. Giant buck for sure. Thanks for post do you have any other pics of him preferably from the side?
No I dont have any other pics of him. I got one quick pic of him before him and his does spooked. Yeah I agree with you on that weak front fork thats the only thing that will kill his score. After seeing him in real life a few times Im guessing he will go mid 180's.

  8. That looks like a place where I've seen a huge 3X3 SINCE December. If its the same buck he's blind on his left side. I have seen him 4 times and my dad had him at forty yards in December.

If you can recognize that hill out of all the hills in Arizona you are a smarter man then I. I can not attest to him being blind on his left side, but will hopfully be able to stick him in the next couple weeks. I've been chasing this guy for the past three years now including this year. I've been out three days this week without seeing him. I assume he's a bit tired from working does the past three weeks. I think the rut is just about over if not totally done. What do big muley bucks do after the rut? Just kidding, unless you know the answer. If it is the same buck, and you get him, be sure to post pics. Good luck.

I already killed my buck. I was just trying to make conversation. There is hundreds of big bucks in az. Trust me I know that. ;)
