Sold to speedygoss!Heck of a deal! If I hadn't just bought a Bowtech Experience I would have been all over this, I was between the insanity and the Experience and I shot all the new bows. That insanity is sweet!!!!
-
do you have a backup bow? If you don't need the money for a new one I'd keep the old one too, stuff happens, especially in the back country, be nice to have a bow you are familiar with in camp.I do not have a back up bow, my dad and I have the same draw length so if something were to happen I would just use his bow, he is my true hunting partner and is on every hunt I go on and vice versa. If I can't sell th.e tribute I will just keep it set up and ready rock I kinda don't really want to sell it anyways:) Thanks for the advice it is appreciated.

My Tribute was a killing machine also. I shot the bowtech experience and just had to have it, I got the same feeling I felt when I bought my tribute, hopefully I don't regret it. Hopefully my first kill with my new bow will be a big old stinky rutted up pig of a bull, finally got a bull tag after waiting for 10 years. Come on September!!!it killed elk deer and pigs and was a great bow but I jumped ship back to hoyt last year and have a new elite hunter coming this week. Awesome let off with lots of creep which I need. You can hold full draw forever. No regrets because technology just keeps getting better. Its too bad resale on bows isnt like guns where you can get most of your money back. -
Thats what I kinda of thought, thanks for the reply, do you regret selling it? I'm a little nervous about getting rid of it.350 set up with a good string and cable. thats average ebay price. That's what mine sold for plus shipping. -
It has 70-80 lbs limbs with speed mods and is set to 27.5 right now, it can be adjusted though.Yes possibly if it has speed mods on it. 29" draw, and 70 lb limbs. Bare bow -
What do you think is a fair asking price?
-
Would anyone be interested in a 2007 bowtech tribute? I might have one for sale if I can get myself to sell it. Either bare bow or with accesories.

I used a 7 mag on my bear last year. It seemed like it did the job, but I shot it at 40 yards wish I would of been Bowhunting, then I would have put an Ulmer Edge through the rib cage. Maybe this year.

Nice! You guys are killing out there.

One of the best lion mounts I have ever seen! Outstanding job!

Do you guys think results will be out tommorrow? I put in with a money order and I'm so calm about the results it's unreal, I'm usually a nervous wreck. Hopefully that's a good sign that I finally drew a tag. Or maybe I'm just so used to not getting drawn. Ha! Ha! I'm thinking sometime next week after the expo results will be out.

Awesome video! Game &Fish please give me my long awaited bull tag!!!!!

Alright I'm done. You've made some good points and I respect your opinion. I hope you draw your dream elk or antelope tag, good luck.

Coues 79 and mace,
I see where you guys are coming from. One of my favorite archery units was closed for December also. I to love the long liberal archery deer seasons. But all I'm saying it's only a matter of time before OTC deer goes to a draw in all units. Or maybe at least for the rut hunts. With the advanced archery equipment, optics and laser rangefinders we have, success rates will continue to rise. So what is putting a ban on baiting going to do? Whats next a ban on high powered optics? Because I know if I didn't glass with top of line optics I wouldn't see half the game I do now. All I'm trying to get at is why should we judge someone by the way they hunt? Some guys still hunt, some sit water/bait, and some glass there butts off. Or maybe they do a little of everything. What's the difference in sitting water as to sitting over bait? Should waterhole hunting be banned also? I'm not here to make enemies or piss people off, I'm just trying to understand why someone would be upset over success in the field. That is the goal when we set out on our hunting adventures right? It's AZGFD's to regulate harvest objectives right? The Game&Fish is going to do what they want to do anyways so why not just be happy for success either way, whether it's outfitter or DIY guys.

Yeah and you probably have a 1000 yard gun and can shoot a deer at 120 yards with your bow just like everyone else that hunts nowadays huh. You probably have a lot of expensive optics and are a heck of a glasser to huh. I guess we are all apart of the problem, maybe you should read between the lines. Hunters are evolving and success rates will continue to rise!I make my living doing other things than outfitting. I have 3 kids that I put food on the table for. I bust my butt and work late into the evening. One of my favorite units to hunt down south during December archery season got taken away because the success rate for the archery hunts got too high. Seems to be reason to be concerned IMO.Read between the lines. He isn't bashing. Its common sense. Success rates like that limit other folks that can hunt during those times when the game and fish regulate archery hunting. So he makes a living outfitting; great! Don't bag on a guy that is trying to show the possibilities that can come from so many archery deer kills. One of the units he hunts which is the same unit the outfitter hunts just got the December hunt taken away. Keep killing high numbers of deer and it'll get turned into a draw archery unit. Geez. Makes some kinda sense there don't you think? Maybe kinda self regulate or you just might end up running a business into the ground.
The closed mindedness of folks is what irks me. A guy has the right to disagree and it don't look like he did it in a nasty way either.

Great job on your success in the archery season. That is awesome. You can't make everyone happy. Here we go again with another person bashing another person. I said it before and I will say it again it irritates the crap out of me. Mace, this is this mans business and his success depends on putting food on the table for his family. Have you ever thought about how much time and effort he puts in to putting out bait, hanging cameras and getting everything ready to have his clients have the best experince possible? I have never hunted over bait in my whole life but it doesn't mean I'm against it. If I was an outfitter I would do everything possible ( that's legal) in my power, to make my clients successful. I just don't understand where all this negativity comes from, when all of us love the same thing. The great sport of hunting. Great job Wards Outfitters and I hope yourcontinue to get your clients on great animals for many years to come.
