Potentially need help turning down 5/8-24 threads to 1/2-28
Azshooter replied to bowhunter-tw's topic in Classified Ads
Did a quick search of the net. While there are not many manufacturers that offer an adapter that steps down to a smaller thread the adapter does exist. It could solve your problem for far less money and time. 5/8″×24 RH (female) to 1/2″×28 RH (male) Thread Adapter – SKU#080 - Hughes Precision LLC If you go this route, keeping the thicker thread on your barrel will have more strength. Robert Whitley did a study posted on Accurate Shooter that causes belling of the muzzle due to insufficient thickness. (must admit this might not be observable unless the rifle shooter is using it for bench rest competitions) For Barrel End Threading — Bigger Diameter is Better « Daily Bulletin -

Tikka take off barrels and a few other miscellaneous Tikka parts
Azshooter replied to tomkat12's topic in Classified Ads
For the rifle looneys, the Tikka shank thread is the same as a Ruger and Winchester push feed 1" - 16 TPI. The shank is shorter for both the Ruger and Win. so some simple facing gets the barrel to fit. As to headspace that depends on the chamber reamer. The easiest thing is to use a larger reamer that cleans up the entire chamber. I recently added a Tikka barrel to a Ruger tanger and changed the 25-06 chamber to 257 Weatherby. Inexpensive fun if you have a lathe. Tikka barrels are hammer forged and are very smooth inside. No reamer marks will be seen on the lands and grooves like you see with Remington hammer forged barrels. -

McMillan stock for a Bauska BBK-02 Large Magnum Rifle Action
Azshooter posted a topic in Classified Ads
The unbedded stock comes with the complete floorplate, box mag and follower. It looks like the mauser interarms Mark X stock. Color green. Will text pics upon request. https://mcmillanusa.com/shop/browse...models/mauser-interarms-mark-x-flat-top/ $350 shipped PM requested -
At least give them to one of the small tire stores! I am certain they could put them to use. If they were 16" diameter I would grab them......

4 gallons of Yamaha marine 2M TCW-3 2 stroke oil

bump could meet 1/2 way to PHX if someone is interested. -
For what it is worth, Sierra never changes a bullet's characteristics associated with a number. If you find a bullet your rifle likes you can still get the # 1625, #1630, and the #1650. Couldn't read the # on the 87 gr bullets so don't know. Enjoy!

Good idea! I took a tupperware stock and rigged up a scope holder similar to the scope demonstrator stock used in some sporting goods stores. (tried to find one for sale and couldn't) I used it to help a new shooter learn how to acquire things in a scope. Think every youngster should have both of these practice stocks before they handle a real rifle.

I have the same stabilizer system. It is an excellent design. Works well with our 24 ft vintage Kenskill. The trailer tracks better and is more stable with this system. Someone is going to get a deal at this price.

To help the OP market these barrels: Prices? The threads for the defiance action could be machined off and new ones made to fit the action of your choice. At that point there are plenty of options as to the chamber. Could stay with the 6.5 Creedmore or make the barrel a 260 Remington, a 6.5-284, 6.5 PRC or even a 264 Win mag to name a few.

I used to fish with a friend that ran four electric Rivera downriggers in Lake Ontario! I ran two with my setup but mine are hand crank. Machined them myself. For anyone interested in downriggers here is some setup information. Who knows it might get someone to buy your downrigger: Downriggers are great! You can use light lures, line, rods and reels and feel the fish fighting when it is released from the downrigger. You can precisely place that light lure exactly where you want it. You can make tighter turns with the shorter line that is behind the release when compared to flatline trolling. You can even troll tiny lures like streamers. You can also add additional lure to each rod's line, if it is legal in your area. It is called a slider. The line makes a belly between the downrigger ball's release and the tip of the rod. Make a 6-10 ft leader with a clip that will allow you to snap it on the line. After the downrigger is setup, throw out the slider lure behind the boat and clip the leader on to the rod's line. It will go down approximately halfway. When a fish strikes the slider lure the fish will go downwards tripping the release. Sometimes you may see the rod bouncing and you will have to grab the rod and give it a snap to release the slider caught fish. There is a more cumbersome setup called the stacker. It may not be legal in some places. A work around in some states is one hook per leader as some laws allow 15 hook points. It requires specially made small weak rubberbands. As you lower the downrigger, perhaps every 10 feet you loop the rubber band around the downrigger cable. Let the leader and lure out and clip it to the line and the rubber band wrapped around the downrigger cable. When a fish hits, the rubber band breaks and the fish slides down the line to the release. Multiple setups can be attached to cable and line this way. This can be a mess but it covers a wide range of depths and under certain circumstances when it is slow can catch you fish.

As a downrigger user thought I'd ask a few questions which may help you sell it. Do you have weights? What about releases? There are all sorts of things available. Downrigger trolling is big in the great lakes. I have downrigger trolled Lake Ontario and many lakes in the West. Very effective especially for trout and Kokanee in the West. This downrigger would be a useful tool for summer Bass that go deep. Even in the middle of Roosevelt Lake there are bass for the taking.....

The oil is: Yamaha LUB-2STRK-M1-04 Yamalube 2M Marine 2-Stroke Oil NMMA TC-W3 Gallon Paid $179 for four gallons will sell all three sealed gallons for $100. Live in Tucson. Willing to meet a reasonable distance from here. PM me and we will work out the details. Ross Why sell the oil? My 1984 115 two stroke decided to die after 40 years. I had just ordered the oil and used a partial gallon but the other three are new unopened. IMO Yamaha makes the best oils for their outboards. Proof is the longevity of this old two stroke. First PM saying I'll take it gets it. FYI the engine, a Yamaha two stroke 1984 115 ETLN is also up for grabs. Has three new relays and some hard to get parts on it. 20" lower unit works fine. Anyone interested in the engine or lower unit let me know.
