I started many years ago with a single stage RCBS press, which I continue to use. I got a pretty good deal on a couple Dillon 's 550's and a Dillon RL1050. It probably comes down to the volume you plan to shoot. I still use the RCBS for all my precision rifle reloading. I use the Dillon equipment for high volume pistol calibers and/or 223 loads. If I were starting out again, I would probably recommend the Dillon as it will handle most all calibers out there. Many would recommend starting with a single stage press, but that would in part depend on one's aptitude and how one pays attention to detail. I was 13 when I started reloading, so the single stage was definitely the right way to go.

I read an article a while back and they said the operation is still very much an hand operation with respect to the application of the propellant. Match grade primers were made by those individuals who had years of experience and as a result, had a much more consistent application rate. I've used both match and non-match grade primers in the same rifle and load with very little difference observed between the two. I have had a larger variance between rifle manufacturers. In fact, some of my rifles perform better with one mfg than another.

I looked all over for the tap and ended up going to Grainger. I bought it cash telling them a po had to be greater than $50 for the company I worked for.. They let me get it that way. Otherwise, I'm sure you can find it on line. If I remember, shipping cost as much as the tap! -
Could you please send/post the dimensions of the cargo box. LxWxH Thanks!

What are your preferred gun cleaning solvents and oils?

I use Sweet's 7.62 for really difficult rifles. Break Free CLP is really good and I usually use that after the Sweet's. Finally, I use Frog Lube. I have an armalite AR10 that runs dry quickly. The problem went away after using Frog Lube. It's a little expensive, but does the job and lasts well. -
I'll take No. 1: 1. 500+ 223 rem once fired brass plus 13 lbs of 55 gr 224 bullets. (13 lbs = 91000 grains....divide that by 55 and whala = 1654 bullets) $250 Please pm details. Thanks!

Not too sure if this is the best place to post this but my daughter found a German Short Hair Pointer on her trip to Williams this last weekend. The vet said he is about 2-3 years old. He is only 40 pounds right now. The poor thing is just skin and bones. She said it was around the Sycamore Canyon area. If anyone knows who he belongs to, please send me a pm or reply to this post. He has a collar but no tags. The vet also said he did not have a chip for ID. All the best.

Thanks firstcoues. I believe you're right ! Brooke has decided to keep him in the event we don't find the owner. Even should we find the owner, It'll be very difficult to give him up. He's already part of our family !!
