  1. Will you take $1400 for the binos and tripod adapter? If so, are you willing to ship?
  2. Hi everyone, I've been a member here for quite some time but I have never posted. I just wanted to show you all the buck that I was lucky enough to harvest in front of my son, this last December. Let me know what you all think. Any guesses on SCI score would be much appreciated and thank you for reading! David
  3. Wow, what an amazing story, video and buck! Congrats again!

    My December Coues

Again, thank you all very much for the kind words, this place is awesome! Ok, here is my story......This begins a day before I actually tagged this guy. Me, my buddy Steve and my son were planning on heading up a Friday morning (I work grave yard shifts so these hunts were pretty grueling) working from 8pm-330am then heading out to the spot made for a super long day. Anyhow, so my buddy and myself had a miscommunication on which rifle I was going to be hunting with (mine or his) and we both ended up thinking the other guy was bringing a rifle and we got out there and had no rifle to use, but thankfully he had an archery tag and I got the pleasure of watching him stalk a huge 4x4 mule deer. He never tagged one but it was a very cool experience to watch him through the binoculars make such a spectacular stalk on such a huge deer. We joked about watching a big whitetail jump out in front of the Rhino and sure enough on our way out, standing not 100 yards away on a small hill was a small 3x3 whitetail, just staring at us. I would have definitely shot him, but forgetting the rifles was a blessing in disguise as I wouldn't have had a shot at this guy that I took. Day 2 same thing goes down, I get out of work, I drive home to pick up my son then straight out to meet my buddy and off and at it again. We try a new spot that we had checked out at an earlier time that looked promising. We set up and about 8am by buddy tells me he see's a buck, then two bucks. My heart starts racing and I get the rifle ready and lay prone next to him waiting for him to let me know when. We ranged the deer at 700 yds and they were feeding towards us so we weren't in a huge hurry to shoot. After about an hour and fifteen minutes, he got to 582 yards and started walking up. I figured now was the time I'd take the shot. I get on him and my buddy says ready when you are, I put the crosshairs on him and sent the 7mm round flying and the rest is history. Not only did I take a really nice deer but I did it in front of my 7 year old son and my good friend Steve. It was an amazing experience and I will never forget it for the rest of my life. I owe everything to my buddy for helping me with this hunt and I am in debt to him. The deer is currently at the taxidermist and I will post pics once I get him back. I still don't have an official score on him but I appreciate everyone taking the time to guess for me. David
