Thanks everyone! Justin I couldn't agree more. I wish they would have showed Ryan's buck off more. That caliber of deer disserved it for sure! I need to post some pictures of my buck I got after the camera guys left. -

Azbow thank you for the kind words! It was definitely a challenge with the camera guys. Pretty sure they were happy when the last day rolled around and they didn't have to hike anymore! -

My buddy and I pulled a double on two 81 inch bucks in Nov. this past year. Tough hunt though with a lot of hunters.

First buck is a stud with tons of character.! That's a tough way tag out on you late hunt with the second buck. Each time you think you have these deer figured out they find a way to humble you. -

I'm in the process of checking on when the show will air. The first episode of the season starts on Thursday Jan 3 at 630 pm on the sportsmanship channel. If you guys have DVR it would be worth setting. The show is all about DIY everyday hunters. Again where not able to post pictures or scores yet but believe me when I say the buck we got down on camera will NOT disappoint. Thanks everyone. -
Awesome Buck! Love those symmetrical three points! Congrats

I was out scouting yesterday morning for my late december coues tag is southeastern Arizona and heard a shot in the canyon I was glassing. There was only one other truck in the country and it had a orange CouesWhitetail.com sticker in the back window along with a Tackle Warehouse sticker. The truck was a Black Dodge Ram older model. If the owner of the truck by chance reads this if you could PM that would be great. Curious to see how you did. Thanks Regan

Congrats to those little ones. Not very often you see deer that old!

Congrats Parker! There will be plenty more bucks to come in the future but one thing is for sure you will never forget your first!

I can't help but be suspicious of these new updates in reference to friendly fire. Casey correct me if I'm wrong but BP can't just shoot someone without identifying a threat first and feel like his/her life is danger or third persons life. It is interesting to me how two agents separated would open fire on each other without first identifying their target and being sure of what I stated above. Reason being if they didn't and shot an innocent person they would be right on there way to prison. Anyone in any type of law enforcement can't just walk in a shoot first and ask questions later. To me this is what the media seems to be portraying at this point. Its ironic because yesterday there was an unconfirmed report Mexicans officials had arrested two suspects. I for one am skeptical of anything the media reports. It's also sad I can't help but feel this is a politically motivated statement to help out the left. God Bless the Ivie family as they go through this incredibly difficult time. Nicholas Ivie thank you for your service to this country and forever rest in peace!

Great buck Keith! Shooter for sure.

Congrats bud on a trophy buck! No one deserved to break the 100 inch mark more!

+1 on sinusitis. My brothers ram from 15CN several years back had the same condition and looked similar to this ram. Most of your one horned rams you see got the raw end of sinusitis.

It takes a big man to name call on the internet! People like "The Rifleman" are reasons for Anti's to just stereo type the rest of us and our way of life. If you don't give anyone ammunition then they can't come back and shoot you later on. In reference to this topic. I have just started baiting over the past year in the northern units and there is no denying the fact that I have had much more opportunities than prior trips. In just one January I passed on 10+ bucks over bait in hopes to take a deer over 100 inches. Two prior years of hunting including August and January I had two total opportunities not using bait at the same location. So there is no doubt that baiting has personally provided me more opportunities at deer. With that said in certain areas such as 22 and 23 the terrain makes it nearly impossible to spot and stalk these crafty deer. I know there are other ways to hunt such as water, salt, etc... but for some people trying to maximize opportunity with maybe little to no time to hunt they should have every opportunity at any tactic. I agree with looking into something similar to how G&F manages our bear hunts. Maybe some type of quota per hunt and once that's reached then the hunt is shut down. Also mandatory reporting for all game in this state would be a step in the right direction. My 2cents

That second buck is gonna be interesting! Shooter for sure.

I shot a hybrid buck in 2007 in unit 21. I had a coues tag and glassed up a heard of muley bucks. After looking them over pretty good, it was obvious one buck was pretty different looking than the others. Didn't have the white patch on its rear with the skinny black tale. One horn was a typical three and the other was just a clump of points. Spoke with a game and fish buddy of mine who I described the deer to and said I was good to go on harvesting him. Pretty cool buck but I wouldn't shoot one again.
