Thanks trophyhntr much appreciated! It really is an awesome gun, not much to dislike about it.

I doubt prop 120 would pass supreme court muster. It could be an attempt to head off at the pass what the left has planned for our state.... which is to use the endangered species act to dump boatloads of wolves and windmills north of the canyon and to create a whole bunch of new Natl. Monuments. If O is re-elected I see a whole bunch of new monuments coming. If he is not re-elected I see a whole bunch of new Natl. Monuments coming to AZ anyways. Katie bar the door as to the damage O will do with a stroke of a pen between election day and Romney's inauguration in Jan.

Hmmmm lets see, the Sierra club is against prop 120.......... tells me all I need to know! I vote yes

A more fitting comparison in my view would be to the liberal elite's in Washington prior to 2010. They passed a close to trillion$$ stimulus bill doling out billions to their political friends. And we all know about the healthcare bill that Pelosi said we "had to pass to find out what's in it" My point is AZSFW is acting just like the political elite class in Washington where they know what's best for us and they will save us from ourselves and the big bad woofs of the world if we just get on board. Oh and yes of course 30% of all that money raised will go back into wildlife conservation. So very nice of them!
-
You're kidding right??? AZSFW makes the analogy of what they are doing & compares it to Jesus Christ's life? If I'm not mistaken Jesus spread the word of the lord to all who would listen and from the highest mountain top.....NOT in the dark of night, under the table, behind everyone's back! Good grief this is ridiculous!!!

Meeting tonight at AZGFD
wetmule replied to gotcoues's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I watched the last half of the meeting but missed the first half. I wonder if G & F can post the entire video on their website with a link for those that missed it?? OR if Amanda can make a request to download it and post it here on this site. Good job to those I saw speak - thanks for your efforts: Steve Clark, Blaine Bickford, Chairman Woodhouse, Audsley, & several others who's names escape me. Thank you All!! -
Thanks, pm returned

Bill, Terry & Amanda are exactly correct with regard to the precedent this bill will set if enacted. It's called the laws of unintended consequences and looking a bit further down the road than you can pee into the wind.... which appears to me exactly how far AZSFW has looked into their crystal ball . This bill opens the door for the Sierra Club or the Center for Biological Diversity or whoever, to petition & lobby the legislature for their own tags to raffle and auction off for their own coffers and lobbyist's loyal to their own causes. Yes hunters will be the recipient of those tags too but the portion of $$$ not going back into wildlife habitat etc. will be used against us by their lobbyists to promote their wolf hybrid projects and the like. I would bet, that Sierra Club ball is already rolling and they are making preparations as I type to do just that. They have exponentially more money than we do and they are exponentially more organized than we are. We need to keep politics and the legislature out of the North American Model of wildlife conservation, otherwise it explodes - PERIOD!

Need more green ones (good guys)....who will be next?
wetmule replied to javihammer's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
How is doing backroom deals with little to no involvement from any of the partner groups under your umbrella that you represent - or not sharing your ideas and information on legislative proposals with anyone ...... HOW is that getting people involved? You would think that they would want to get all constituents involved in the process before bringing forth such a huge possible change to the system? Did they do that - NO.....and now they are asking for people to trust them after a couple of tweaks. Did they ask for involvement before they made the tweaks, I don't think so - I think they just responded to the negative criticism and tweaked it themselves with little outside involvement. It could be the greatest piece of legislation since sliced bread but if you try to do it in the dark of night under the table you've broken any trust that may have existed prior. Makes no sense to me! -
Sold pending funds, Thanks All!!
