Howdy, Have had great success in the pass using them for bass and catfish. Was down at saguaro tackle and archery today and thought I would make a trip to the lake with them. Anyone else have success using them. I know some people use only plastics. But for some reason. To me anyways, something alive in the water and in front of a predator fish. Should up your odds. what's your opinion? thanks.. Peace

New Rigs??? Archery season is coming!
June replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Right On DubTee, I like a bigger peep also. I've used that new Gorilla glue. Their version of the super glue. Holds blazers on great. They can and are tough to get set, as you know. Better then that goat stuff. Haven't tried to remove any of that glue from the shaft yet. I hope it comes off but it is that stout. Have fun with your new rig.. Peace -

Nice set-up there, I've heard some good things about Mr. Chapman. But I can't and wouldn't stray too far from Jesse at Saguaro in Tuc . Is that the G5 peep and how do you like it? Not completely sold on them myself. how much dampening effect or increase arrow speed from a peep anyways, would be interesting to see, really?. You might have to invest in a bitz with all the tight groups. if you don't already have one. Peace -

AZHUNTERGIRL, There are like 80 some posts on this same subject in Other Big Game. Check them out. I have used the phrase. "Here kitty kitty kitty, let me take that off of you...don't bite me, I'm your friend." With much success... Oh, you meant for Jaguars. -
Excellent, Great day of fishing and excellent decision to get out. Thanks for sharing your story and great pics. See , who needs all those expensive reels. Trusty ZEBCO slade that monster. Congrats

The Claw: First time test Impressive.
June replied to bobbyo's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
No can do? Can't shoot from the truck. Right? They will have to unload him and place him in a non-motorized chair. Dang, I know that didn't sound too cool. But, I'm going to write that one down in my will. That way when I can't remember anymore. They will have to unload me from the truck. I wonder if i could get some assistance from social security to pay for the claw. -
How to take a realistic Field Picture?
June replied to June's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Thanks for the info. Jamaro and AZOnecam RR also as some good suggestion he posted earlier. I'm going to combine everything and test out some angles with my mckenzie deer. I really want to limit my time with the pictures in the field. While still having them look there normal size. I like these digital camera's as you can take many pictures without wasting actual film. Thanks again, I'll post some pic's after my hunt. Hopefully -
How to take a realistic Field Picture?
June posted a topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
I was wondering how to take a field photo so it doesn't look like it came out of Jurassic Park. I've seen the suggestions on how to take pic's on this site. But they are exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Granted, low angle, very close and looking up. Makes an animal bigger than it appears. I saw another picture of a hunter who harvested a great bear. But, Dang it would make Bigfoot wonder where he Sasquatches. Honestly, If I stand at least 8 to 12 feet back. Using a conventional angle will i get a more realistic picture? And why is it people want to make their success bigger than life? Any help from more experience photo journ's would be appreciated. Thanks I guess I 've seen to many Javi's that look like bears and bears that look more like Buffalo's. Peace -
Bobbo, The BM.. XL is closer at 6 1/2 with a 36 axel to axel. But you already knew that. The 32 axel(7 brace) is close to 298 ftps at a 28 draw length set at 69 lbs. With a 390 grain arrow ready to go. More your tip hunting set-up right? But don't you usually kill monsters with your boom sick? Peace

I PROTEST!!!!! Ah, what am I exactly protesting... Oh yeah, I PROTEST!!!!! Come on down to 35. I usually camp next to the cemetery. Already have a plot there. just in case.

Soloution to carry your Range Finder

Very Cool, It appears universal and can be used by lefties? Very simple design. I may have over looked but what will be the established price. Best of luck on your product. Thanks -
There's a money shoot at 10 a.m. tomorrow at PSE in Tucson. It's put on by some of the guy's from the old Davis Monthan Archer's club. I figured I'll go and donate my $10.00. The storms should be cleared out by then. Good Luck tomorrow in getting your bows dialed in.

Did someone say BEER BATTER!!! UUMMMMMM. Oh That's BEER.. UUMMMMMM!! HOMEY. Nice catch... NOW GET IN MY BELLY!!... I"M GOING TO EAT YA!!

Also, Like to add marked and unmarked BP+ their heli flying low or even landing close by. Which is pretty cool. That lawn mower in the sky constantly flying above(predator drone). Cow trails that were once used for COWS. Lack of cell phone coverage. . And, oh yeah, Those noises in those deep thick canyons way back in there that used to be made by animals that had fur. Other than that, I sleep pretty well down there. It's a lot better then sleeping in a trailer park, like in 32. I think

Who be there? How did it go? How were the courses? Where can I find the scores? Was there a dark colored four-door jeep with attractive females? WAS it a good time? I hope no ambulances were necessary this time.

Ilene, Congratulations on your placing. Mr. Barragan's craftsmanship sure does show in the trophy's he creates. I too have been impressed with the great turnouts during the triple crown. Let's keep it up. Thanks ABA and Apache Bowhunters.

JN in Tempe, I hear Ya. Several years back we were deer hunting in 32. It was late eve and we were returning from getting some needed supplies from Wilcox. I was driving when i saw something running up the road. My first thought was it was a coyote so I mashed the peddle because we hadn't had any luck, thus far, And well, We are hunters. Anyways, we gained on it and right away it was to light(actually white looking) in color. That's when it became apparent it was a Dog. Well, he ran off the road and I jumped out and ran over and he just curled up allowing me to pick him up and bring him back to the truck. Well, we realize he was actually a she. And she was a springer spaniel to boot. Well I'll try to shorten this up some. We figured it was probably somebody's lost hunting dog. We ended up taking her back to camp and tied a leash to her. She spent the next two days with us and became comfortable to the point we didn't need to keep her leashed 24/7. Only when we walked her. She even slept in the tent with us all. Funny thing we would give her our steak bones and she wouldn't eat them just bury them in the wash. she was very finicky like most females. Well at the end of our hunt we headed out on airport road figuring we'll go into Wilcox and see if we can find the owner or at least ask around. On the way out we spotted a sign on the fence Post at the cattle guard. And low and behold it stated lost hunting dog(springer spaniel). Well my cousin calls the number listed and we arranged to meet the owner on 1-10 and the Wentworth off ramp. During the phone conversation we learned the dog got lost during a training hunt (quail). she had been out in the field for 11 days by herself. She had been spotted several times by the GM and even retrieve birds for other hunter's. When we get to our designation. The owner thanks us and gives us 200.00 U.S. dollars. WOW!!! or BOW WOW for that matter. Come to find out her father is a five time grand national champion bird dog. and her name was Rose( man we tried calling her every name but that one). I guess this is just a little different than menacing dogs. But I 've seen plenty of dogs out in the field and always just assumed they belonged to the rancher. You just never know and that's my point also. Unless they are getting close with that rabid look like mentioned earlier. I let them be. Good thing we just didn't Shoot her because she was out there... Sorry, I tried to make this short. Oh yeah, after trying to persuade the guy to keep his money, because, that's just the type of people we are. He refused. We ended up splitting it up evenly. And of course everyone said, "well I helped take care of her". Which is true. But I do remember who actually caught her... Peace

Right On, You did the right thing. Dog bites are no fun and hard to keep clean. Throwing peppers at them puts a new meaning to HOT DOG
