Agree but right now I don't know for sure what powder I will be using long term so don't want to commit with 8lbs. After I settle on a powder then a big jug will be ordered. -

.308 based (.243/.308/.260/.7mm/08) Don't care about condition of stock, barrel etc. So, if you have an old Savage or Stevens sitting around rusting and gathering dust, turn into a couple tanks of scouting gas or new boots.

The angled is steadier and easier to use with a camera but as mentioned you have to adjust your tripod if you switch from binos to spotter

Brine for 5-7 days in salt water and spices (corned as previously mentioned) then braise in beef broth and wine. I always inject with olive oil too. Boom! -
