I used a sealed lead acid battery on mine once. No solar charger. Just full charged the battery at home. it would last 8-9 months on the single charge. If it is going to be your only vehicle you will probably want more room. Ive had 3 of them but it was my daily driver. we have always had a bigger vehicle for hauling the kids around. Lots of room in the 4 door Tundra and surprisingly the Tundra sells for about the same or even less than the Tacoma

Depends on the budget. Ive always wanted to the bear hunt on the White Mountain Rez. A spot and stalk bear hunt in Idaho, Montana or Alaska is also fairly reasonable.

Hopefully no one loses property or most importantly life but I have no problem with fires in uninhabited areas. Especially old growth timber and manzanita.

The biggest advantage to the December tag is its two weeks long and fewer tags. If you cant hunt the entire two weeks there is not much advantage over one of the earlier tags. Good chance you wont see much rut activity until the last 4-5 days of the hunt, if that. Personally prefer the October hunts. If you are looking for a rut hunt, jan archery, REZ or mexico is your best choice.
