The Antiquities act was signed into law in 1906. Passed by Congress and Signed by President Roosevelt. You cannot "executive order" it away. IMO, mid priced spotting scopes are just extra weight. Once you get them up past 20x it's like looking through a coke bottle. I've tried several Vortex, Nikon and others. Sold them all. You have spend more on a spotter than binos to get quality for some reason.

If you didn't know, iPhone 6 and 7 have a built in barometer. This means you can get the actual barometric pressure at your location which negates the need to enter the altitude into your app. You can also get density altitude with an app which, if your app allows, lets you use DA which is one number that accounts for temp, humidity, altitude and air pressure.

Shooter uses online data from a weather station that could be 20 or more miles away. Most weather stations are at airports or other urban/suburban areas or mountain tops with cell towers, fire look outs etc.
