Board of Supervisors
DesertBull replied to SpeedGoat's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
She's pushing so hard because she stands to get a big raise from SFW it passes. -
I think SFW should go to NM and fix their problems too.
-
I think it is a clear violation of the gift clause of the state constitution and will be challenged in court should it be signed.

SFW email...here is who they say are affiliates

Obviously they have bought off the Governor. It's a done deal IMO. Big money wins again. -

Did you notice that they are having a banquet hosted By Gov Brewer? Who they call their honorary chair. Sounds like the big money guys are winning.....as usual. -
I had one and sold it. It's not really good for hunting but it is killer for skiing, snowboarding, scuba, quads, etc. It also takes a buttload of computer power to edit and play the video. I will however get another one this summer before I go to Barbados. He is some rough footage I took last year in the Caribbean http://vimeo.com/26853570

Predator Control funded in Utah
DesertBull replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Utah is proposing the loss of 1800 rifle and ML'er deer tags, to be replaced with 1300 archery tags. Sounds like SFW is doing great things in Utah......NOT. Can't wait for them to fix our herds. -
Locked gates on private or leased property
DesertBull replied to gotcoues's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
How about providing all the materials and labor for erecting fence on both sides of the road that crosses their DEEDED land, posting it as no trespassing and hammering anyone that violates the law. BIG rewards for turning people in that trespass. How about if the landowner locks the gate, he pays a fee for road maintenance and/or is not eligible for grazing rights on land that the road accesses? Instead of GIVING them money, take it away. -
Locked gates on private or leased property
DesertBull replied to gotcoues's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
paying ranchers to open gates is a bad idea. Once one of them gets paid, the rest of them will lock gates and wait for their check too. It's just another form of welfare and opens the gate (no pun intended) for landowner tags. And if they are just leasing the land, they should not be locking the gates in the first place. Just my opinion -
Hello Comm1... Are you not a former commissioner?... I have stated that HB2072 is dead. The Yuma Valley Rod and Gun Club lead????? Smells a lot like politics here. I have protected some folks here but it appears that being courteous is not a good thing. The AZSFW has been blasted here because of Prop 109 which was a failure here. Who came to the AZSFW and BEGGED for the AZSFW support?... George Reiners, of the Yuma Valley Rod and Gun Club. I was present where he came in and asked that this "vital" piece of legislation be passed and that the NRA was doing a horrible job and would the ASZFW please help... You are not being honest here Comm1... Rep Weiers posted his statement and that in political speak is a way of acknowledging that the many have spoken. There is no damage control, the bill is dead, Rep Weiers issued a statement to that effect... get on with your life.... I guess Mr Woodhouse was right. and BPJ was not. I cannot see how a person who deliberately gives misleading information is still the leader of the ADA.
-
But remember, the bill is dead and no longer being pursued.
-
I've already concluded that it will eventually become law. One day, when no one is looking, one of their paid for legislators will sneak it in and that will be that.

That's rule number 1 in the Don Peay how to run a scam handbook. Take their money but not their opinions.

Predator Control funded in Utah
DesertBull replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Gateway Outdoors is organizing a 2 or 3 day class on killing coyotes. I think it's is going to be in April. PM Muskrat for details. -
Luckily there was.no discussion about 2072. A church is not really the correct place for violence, cursing and rioting.
-
I thought we were told this bill was dead and not to worry about it any more.

Predator Control funded in Utah
DesertBull replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Speak of the devil.....I just got another email from SFW telling me how they need more money or hunting will disappear. Please SFW, rescue us from ourselves. Just like our Fed gov't, you think we need to be a nanny state, where all our needs are provided by the rich and the elitist. How would we ever survive without your superior judgment? -
Predator Control funded in Utah
DesertBull replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I was not accusing you. I'm just stating that predator control is the main way SFW draws the unsuspecting into their fold. They wail and moan about wolves, then oppose legislation that would delist them. They are like cancer researchers that scam money off of well meaning people, all the while hoping like **** that there is never a cure for cancer. We know you are not one of "them". -

you are falling into their trap. We need to sell tags to millionairs or the coyotes and lions will eat all the deer and then they will eat your children. That will be their counter to your statement, in my opinion. -
Representative Peggy Judd District 25
DesertBull replied to gotcoues's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Wonder how much $$$$ they have given her? -
We won't mention the tactics that unions use to "negotiate".
-
They never read any of the bills. They figure out which bills to support by how many votes they are likely to get or lose. The only thing that is important to a politician is getting re-elected enough times to qualify for pension and life long benefits.

These D-bags are never going to give up?

From twitter this evening @ncaabballrumors wait, what? #arizona #wildcats HC #seanmiller places call to #illini AD #mikethomas: I'm interested. Sean Miller is interested in the Illini job. Smart man.

It's less about the taxes and more about having to provide healthcare insurance for employees, the power of unions, etc. Whoever it was that came up with the lame idea that your employer should be mandated to provide your healthcare coverage was a moron. Your employer should have to provide a safe work place and coverage for anything that is work related, but why should they be liable for all or a portion of your healthcare?
