I use Isnipe for the Iphone. It's pretty good IMO. Accounts for spin drift and coriolis. It uses Litz BC numbers on a lot of bullets and backs up to their server online so you never have to worry about losing your data. It also gets the elevation and weather automatically or you can override if you want to.

Do you guys find that RL22 is temp sensitive? I would like to try it in my 7MAG but H1000 has been so consistent at all temps. I'll gladly give up a few FPS with the H1000 if it means not having to rework the loads every summer / winter.

The whole scoring thing has done way more harm than good but that being said, it makes more sense to give credit for the most bone no matter which side of the head it happens to be on.

You need to make the software match your rifle/load by tweeking the BC and the FPS. Chronographs are not always accurate, bullet MFG's advertised BC is sometimes overstated to make their bullets look better than the competition. If you measure FPS when it's 110 degrees and then move to a location that is 70 degrees, the velocity will likely be slower at the cooler temps unless you are using a very temp stable powder.

I love my 7mm mag but if I had it to do over again I would go with a non belted magnum. Reloading for the belted mags have some minor issues. Not a big deal, but if you have your choice of any caliber, why not avoid the hassle? The only reason I went with a Rem 7 mag was because I already had 250+ pieces of brass. At 4-5 firings per brass, that's basically the lifetime of the barrel. I just loaded up 10 rounds of 162 SST and 10 rounds of 162 AMAX. Going to shoot them tomorrow. Still can't decide on which bullet will my "go-to". My next barrel on this action will probably be a 7WSM or 300WSM.
