Now maybe you can shave your back instead of using the hedge trimmer.

Some Interesting findings in Unit 22 study
DesertBull replied to Bryson Bendall's topic in Coues Biology
I'm pretty sure they let all those deer out of the enclosure a few years ago. Possibly during the 4 peaks fire, so they could escape. Still, the evidence is clear. Predators, including man, take a big toll on deer numbers. -
$100 at Sportsman's Warehouse (plus tax). $90 at Cabelas (plus tax). $80 at MidWay USA (plus shipping and tax). I've used it maybe 3 or 4 times. It works great, I just prefer to practice with the bipod and rear bag. Come pick it up for $50. Gilbert/Queen Creek area. I work in downtown Phoenix at McDowell & Central PM for address. http://www.chuckhawks.com/caldwell_lead_sled_solo.htm

Hopefully some wolves were turned into ash.

Alpine being evacuated. That's not good.

Let it burn. The R/C fire, from a strictly biological viewpoint, is the best thing that ever happened to unit 3. Obviously, I don't want to see anyone lose their possessions.

I was reading that people were having the same issues with H1000.

Extruded powders through powder measurer
DesertBull replied to bmf1321's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I'm very new to reloading, but I find it much better to just spoon the powder into the scale pan until the scale barely moves then and trickle up. I can see if you were loading more than 20 rounds, the powder measure would be better though. -
It's a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world...
DesertBull replied to TwoGuns's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
It used to be that we were all presumed innocent. Now, we have to prove we are not guilty. BTW, the libtards in Congress, along with the NEOCONS, just passed four more years of the Patriot Act. The one that lets the cops and Gov't snoop into your business with no cause and no warrant. The most blatantly unconstitutional piece of legislation to ever be passed as law. The lefties ran a campaign in 2008 based in a large part on repealing it. Guess that's another one they pulled over on us. -
I'm still in for Aoudad sheep in NM and will be applying for Kaibab deer here. If I don't draw, I'm all in for bear and archery deer here in AZ.

I have friends in California that have drawn Henry Mnt Mule deer, Monroe archery elk and Bookcliffs ML muledeer with very few points. Utah, like AZ, at least gives you a chance to draw. RMG are much more realistic than sheep. Utah's goat herds are growing. They are increasing tags, but the point creep still happens. A lot of people just buy points, then jump in once they get a decent amount accumulated. Utah, Nevada, Colorado and Idaho (no points that I am aware of) are your best chance at drawing a RMG tag. Realistically, you are probably looking at at least 10 years for a tag. Next year will be my 10th in Utah. Colorado has a 3 year buffer period. You must get 3 points before you are even entered in the draw. Wish I would have started in Colorado the same time I started in UT.

It's getting expensive just to buy points anymore. Most states make you buy a license and pay a non refundable processing fee. Colorado and Utah are the cheapest. It's aggravating when you think you are close and the points keep creeping up. The whole point thing is a scam to begin with. It's like crack. They get you started for cheap then raise the price and cost once you're hooked.

In your opinion - who makes the best wall tent?
DesertBull replied to mtn-memories's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Have the same one. Works great with the "buddy" propane heater. Can set it up by myself in 15-20 minutes. -
Welcome to my world.

Sounds like they knew what was in the house. Who carries a torch around with them that is capable of cutting though a safe.

breaking in a barrel
DesertBull replied to Mr. Jonathan's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
 http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f17/my-smallest-3-shot-group-35175/index6.html start reading at comment #40 and make sure your read #45. Not only are TOP shooters and gunsmiths not breaking in barrels, they are cleaning their barrels every 200-300 shots.
