I don't think the camo pattern makes a squats worth of difference. The deer know it's there no matter what the camo, they just don't know what it is.

I'm just hoping that the bucks I have been scouting for Jan don't get pushed down the mountain and into the manzanita by snow. The same thing happened to me last year. Got 12" of snow a few days before the season opened and all the deer left the top of the mountain.

30 minutes? They were probably close to death. Lake Mary is not very wide in most places. Seems they should have been able to dog paddle to shore. Maybe their waders were full of water?

Get rid of landowner tags, especially for antelope, and put those tags in the public draw and a large portion of the problem is solved.

Well, when they start enforcing the littering law, they better start with bird hunters 1st. try walking more than 50 yards without stepping on shotgun hulls.

There were a lot of deer and pigs coming into this water tank until the cats showed up. No deer or pigs in over 3 weeks. Lion is still coming though.

The $6k hunts are the fully outfitted ones. Make your own camp, cook your own meals, etc and just pay for the guided part. 7 days at $300 / day is $2100 plus tip. By the time your 7 days are up, if you have not killed a buck at least you know where to keep looking.
