They beat the Steelers in Pittsburg and the Packers in Green bay. In case you forgot. There is a reason no rookie QB, including Brady and Rodgers and Manning and Montana, never went to a Super Bowl. And lost to the Giants twice. Congrats 4 out of 16 games where a challenge. Maybe you should go look at your Dolphins schedule again ... How many teams over 500 did you play .. heck you lost to Bengals ... had to go to OT vs the Browns , Rams , Jets, Jets, Cards, Chargers .... and you talk about an easy schedule LMAO Dolphins are terrible. I was amazed they did as well as they did. Trust me, you will get no arguing from me on how bad of a team they have. I am shocked that they made it to the playoffs. They seem to have found a good coach.

Haha....I know Cardinal fans are not talking crap about a team that has been to 8 Super Bowls and won 5 Since the Cubs won the World Series, The Tards are now at the top of the loser list.

The Cowboys could be in worse shape. They could have Carson Palmer at QB.

There was no freaking election hack. All of those emails were REAL. Even the libs do not dispute that. giving the voters more truthful information is not election hacking. CNN giving Hillary the debate questions in advance however......

Cabelas Anaknak vs Traditional Canvas
DesertBull replied to rossislider's topic in Other Hunting Gear
You can put the synthetic away damp. Just leave the zippered bag open for a few days. Canvas subject to mold. -
I guess we better hurry up and get started then.

How many shots does a barrel burn out
DesertBull replied to Zeke-BE's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I've shot around 4k rds from my Ar shorty(BushmasterAr-15 a1) and it still shoots just fine... New factory ammo(Remington) always, but my old DI Rupp would be giving me "correction" against a wall if he saw the condition of my Rifle... 100rds, 50yds, 20rd mags, off knee's, Nikon red-dot 0x, smiley face and center-mass blow through doing double-taps... (Thorax shot is the sighter shot) Never seen Haji smile like that -

DesertBull replied to Zeke-BE's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I saw a chart on longrangehunting.com not too long ago regarding barrel life. Overbores like 7 mag, 264 mag, 300 RUM, etc 800-1500 rounds. On average. I think the best thing is to make sure you dont over heat the barrel. That is why i like to take at least two rifles or a pistol with me when i shoot so i am not tempted to shoot too many rounds too fast. Also over cleaning and/or incorrect cleaning is a factor in barrel life i think. -
Losing Our Public Lands
DesertBull replied to rossislider's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Don't be surprised if Obama signs the Kaibab Plateau into a National Monument in the next two weeks. And since a large portion of that area butts up against the Grand Canyon National Park, it could be easily be added to the park at a later date. -
Losing Our Public Lands
DesertBull replied to rossislider's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
The incoming secretary of the interior and the incoming POTUS have publicly expressed they have no intentions of selling or transferring public lands. For what it is worth Turning our public lands into national monuments is what turns local residence of these areas into siding with state run forest, BLM, etc. -

Here is the explanation I got from Jon at Hunter's Trailhead. Makes sense to me. Thank you for your inquiry and that is a very good question-one that I hope I can explain well enough. Feel free to call me if I don’t do a good enough job here. It all comes down to the resident/non-resident allocations. As I'm sure you know, the non-resident applicants are limited to up to 10% of the available permits with 5% of those guaranteed to go in the 1st/2nd choice (or random) pass. If you look at the same report you referred to in you inquiry, you can see at the 14 point level that there were 16 first choice applicants but only 2 permits awarded. Why were only 2 permits awarded at the 14 point level when there were additional 1st choice applicants and permits were awarded to lower point levels????? The answer is that the non-resident quota was met at the 14 point level or higher and all the permits awarded in levels lower than 14 were all to residents. Now if you look at the 11 point level, since the non-resident quota had been met, all 22 permits awarded at that level were awarded to residents. Furthermore, since 6 permits were awarded to the 10 point level, you can surmise that there were only 22 resident applicants in the 11 point level and all of them drew (100% odds) leaving 6 permits to be awarded one level lower. It is a bit confusing and it took a long time for me to wrap my brain around it and understand what was really happening, but that is how it works. It is difficult to determine where (or if) this happens from the bonus pass report, but there are several other units where this did occur. I hope that this helps. Good luck in the drawing. Jon Crump
