I refuse to put any camera on water ever again. 99% chance it gets ripped. There are no secret water holes in AZ. I set mine on a trail leading into the water, at least 100 yardrs away. Sure, you miss some animals, but you won't be missing your camera and the pics you do get.

That's cool. I have the exact opposite problem. I can't have a nice knife because I loose them all the time. A $30 Schrade Old Timer is the best knife I dare put in my pack.

I had a Reflex and it was a very dependable, well made bow. The only thing is, the stock strings are junk. They never stop stretching. Once I got that figured out and replace the cables and strings with Winner's Choice, it shot very well. You don't have to spend $800 on a bow to kill an animal. If you get a bow and find it's not for you, you can always unload pretty easily on the forums or Ebay and get all or most of your money back.

Yes, you can apply for the tag and you can hunt, but if you kill, you are over the bag limit and therefore subject to arrest. kinda like going to Cabela's and buying bear bait. It's legal to have, but not to use.

two legged critters are by FAR the most dangerous. They are the only thing I ever worry about when out alone. Think about it. You are out by yourself with a $1,000 rifle and scope, a $1500 pair of binocs, a $200 pack, a $150 GPS, a $300 digital camera, knives, boots, water filters, etc etc. Easy pickins for a meth freak. If they are brave enough to climb a 3 story building and rip live electrical cable out of the conduit for the $20 worth of copper they get, they will sure as heck beat you like a stray dog for the $3,000 worth of crap you are carrying.

I'm going to Ketchikan on Wed, the 23rd. 1 full day of charter fishing then bumming around the local streams for 3-4 days to catch what ever is biting. Silvers are my favorite. Kings get bigger, but a plate full of grilled silver fillets are almost orgasmic.
